The EyeMatics project as part of the Medizininformatik-Initiative (MII) tackles this critical challenge by enabling the scientific evaluation of real-world clinical data from intravitreal injections. Independent report finds Metadvice is an effective tool for reducing clinician workload having identified potential workforce efficiency savings of over £60,000 annually if used in all CVD-related appointments in a medium-sized Primary Care Practice. The report, commissioned by Health Innovation Kent Surrey Sussex and co-produced by Unity Insights, Metadvice, GP partners, and key stakeholders in the Sussex ICS system, evaluated the application of the Metadvice artificial intelligence (AI) precision clinical guidance tool within the Ball Tree Surgery in Lancing and Sompting PCN. Metadvice CEO, Andrew Rut, commented “This project underscores the significant impact that advanced technology can have on the healthcare system. Our AI-powered clinical guidance solution has demonstrated tangible results, supported by both qualitative and quantitative data. By stratifying patients by risk and optimising therapy at the point of care, we have effectively reduced workloads and improved clinical practice. RBfracture was featured in Health AI Register newsletter, presenting one of the latest studies with RBfracture published in the Singapore Medical Journal. 🙌 The study explored the efficacy of RBfracture in the detection of appendicular and pelvic fractures for adult radiographs performed after hours at a general hospital ED in Singapore, and estimated the potential monetary and non-monetary benefits. The results showed that RBfracture has similar sensitivity to human radiologists in the detection of fractures on ED appendicular and pelvic radiographs.
