The Nemours Mobile clinic participated again in Hispanic Federation’s Get Up, Get Moving event a week ago. This event is a great way to celebrate the end of the year with food, dancing, and a lot of community services all together in one place! It’s fun to take healthcare into the community, and our pediatric residents and UCF College of Medicine students did a great job running the clinic and seeing patients. #WellBeyondMedicine

Medical education meets community service in rural Appalachia.🌄🚑 Through our Rural Physician Leadership Program, eight students have launched the C.A.T.S. Clinic (Caring for Appalachians Through Service), a mobile clinic in Morehead, KY, providing free, accessible health care to underserved communities. Currently serving the Gateway Homeless Shelter weekly, the clinic offers triage, chronic disease management, preventive care, and point-of-care testing, with plans to expand and bring equitable primary care to more vulnerable populations in the region. We are proud of our students for taking the initiative to start the CATS Clinic and look forward to it's impact!💙 #ukymedicine #healthcareservice #Applachia #ruralmedicine
