Friends... We are proud to announce a Design Thinking Program on Co-Creation for Solving Societal Problems which is a unique project envisaged by our Executive President Dr. Rahul V. Karad, implemented as a mandatory 1-Credit Program of 1 week for all the first-year students of MIT World Peace University. Groups of 15 students each, identifying societal problems and brainstorming on finding possible solutions to those problems, is an innovative idea to inculcate thinking out of the box among the young minds. Two days' training followed by two days of field work, and then preparing a presentation over the next two days. MIT WPU ignites the youth power to address societal problems and contribute to a collective Academic Social Responsibility. ▶️ Watch this video for more details: https://lnkd.in/dSngBTgj #cocreation #designthinking #problemsolving

As 2024 concludes, I am (super) excited to share the publication of one of my favorite studies in the renowned journal of 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 & 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 by Elsevier, titled: 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐇𝐲𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐝 𝐁𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐎𝐮𝐭𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐫-𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐜𝐚𝐟𝐟𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐬: 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬. This marks my 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒓𝒅 publication in this journal, and I couldn’t be happier—it is a journal I truly admire. I won’t go into detail about the study here, as I have attached an AI-created video (with Synthesia) that provides a quick and concise overview! Instead. I want to take this moment to thank my brilliant co-authors, Omid Noroozi, Yvette Baggen, Harm Biemans, and Armin Weinberger, for their dedication and valuable insights. This accomplishment wouldn’t have been possible without their contributions. And, a big shout-out to reviewers who provide detailed and constructive feedback for improvement, even when it’s critical—not just vague biased comments. I was fortunate to have three such reviewers! Thank you for your time and effort (hope you see my message!). Devil's Dilemma: How best to prepare students for societal urgencies? 🤔 Are you a prepper or an improviser? This dilemma might just reveal your educational philosophy: Scenario A: Dive Into the Unknown Embrace learning through uncertain and open-ended projects to spark innovation. It’s not just about riding the waves of change—it's about inventing new ways to surf, maybe even without a surfboard! Scenario B: Plan for Every Possibility Equip students with detailed tools and frameworks to manage and anticipate challenges effectively. Think of it as preparing for a zombie apocalypse with a bunker full of resources—just in case. So, how do you believe we should prepare our students? With the freedom to innovate and adapt spontaneously, or with a well-equipped kit to face the unexpected? Weigh in with your thoughts below! 💭 #EducationDebate #InnovateOrPrepare #ImpactAtTheCore #ErasmusUniversityRotterdam

Monday Momentum Minute Stepping into the first full week of 2025, let's focus on real impact and growth. This week, I want to highlight the importance of Science STAAR readiness for educators in Texas. Our STAAR Science Mastery Program isn’t just about checking boxes on a test. It’s about: • Providing TEKS-aligned resources that meet your students where they are. • Equipping educators with strategies to close learning gaps and accelerate progress. • Giving students the confidence to not just pass, but truly excel. This work is bigger than assessments; it’s about empowering educators to inspire mastery and delivering meaningful outcomes for students and districts alike. Let’s connect and explore how Summit K12 can partner with your school to achieve Science STAAR success. I’m here to collaborate and drive results. Call me directly at 469-927-9312 or Joshua.Johnson@summitk12.com, and let’s make it happen. #EdTech #STAARSuccess #ScienceEducation #SummitK12 #TexasEducators

🧨 Let’s kick off the new year with a bang! 🧨 Specifically, let’s get more bang for our buck! That’s precisely what you get with Design of Experiments (#DoE). 🎓 I’m thrilled to share that I have just received my certification from Arizona State University in the DoE Specialization Course led by the esteemed Douglas C. Montgomery! 📚 ✨ The course offered an excellent theoretical foundation, and I successfully completed three project submissions that showcased the practical application of the knowledge and skills I acquired. 💪📊 💡 I’d like to quote Professor Montgomery: 𝑰𝒇 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒏𝒆𝒆𝒅 𝒕𝒐 𝒄𝒐𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒄𝒕 𝒅𝒂𝒕𝒂, 𝒕𝒐 𝒇𝒊𝒈𝒖𝒓𝒆 𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒔𝒘𝒆𝒓 𝒕𝒐 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒒𝒖𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒚𝒐𝒖'𝒓𝒆 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒖𝒔𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒅𝒆𝒔𝒊𝒈𝒏𝒆𝒅 𝒆𝒙𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒔 𝒕𝒐 𝒅𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔, 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒎𝒐𝒏𝒆𝒚 𝒐𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒕𝒂𝒃𝒍𝒆, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒑𝒐𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒃𝒍𝒚 𝒎𝒂𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒔𝒕𝒖𝒑𝒊𝒅 𝒅𝒆𝒄𝒊𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔.
