One of the most memorable inaugural speeches to me is President Obama's, as it encapsulates a simple but powerful truth. In every corner of our country, within every organization, and behind every exceptional leader lies a fundamental truth: we are all created equal and deserving of equal opportunities, regardless of our origins or cultural differences. It is this foundational belief in equality that defines the very essence of who we are as a nation, as organizations, and as leaders. It is a principle that transcends boundaries, unites us in our diversity, and propels us towards greatness. When we embrace the idea that every individual, irrespective of their background, deserves a fair chance to succeed, we unlock the boundless potential that lies within each of us. We recognize that diversity is not just a buzzword but a source of strength, innovation, and resilience.

A sixteen-year-old boy runs home from school and switches on the television. His favourite speaker is about to deliver the biggest speech of their life, and he wants to see it. Who is your favourite speaker? Who would you run home to see on television, or travel across oceans to watch? The sixteen year old boy was me. And the speaker who has inspired me in my lifetime is Barack Obama. Because at that age, I saw politics that didn't appeal to young people like me. I didn't see politicians who spoke to young people the way the Obama campaign did. I didn't see politicians describing a future that sounded like something I wanted to be a part of. Honestly, watching Obama become president was probably one of the seeds that got planted that eventually grew into me becoming a speaker as an adult. That is how we can have an impact on stage. I'm passionate about this topic because I have felt the effects of that from a speaker who inspired me. When I started the video analysis series on US Presidential Inauguration Speeches, I knew this one was coming up towards the end of the series, and I was excited to explore it not just as a fan, but as a coach. I've dived into some of the key factors that allowed Obama to have that inspirational impact. And I've also taken on the challenge of critiquing a hero and telling him where I think he could've done better. AMAZON , Don’t destroy AMAZON Our forests are disappearing at an alarming rate. Over the past few decades, we've witnessed the devastating impact of deforestation, with millions of acres of lush, vibrant ecosystems being cleared for various purposes. This alarming trend not only destroys the natural habitats of countless species but also contributes to climate change, soil erosion, and the disruption of vital water cycles. It's time we take action to protect and restore our precious forests and oceans and finally Earth before it's too late. NATO or other Organizations are also responsible for protecting our forests and oceans and all humanity with peace . They should respect to all thoughts without considering racism and finally developing to keep our planet Earth . We have no other place to live as alternative except Earth . Let’s young leaders control future of our planet. NATO and Organization are responsible to bring peace not to manufacturing war guns and tools . We are all in one ship . Please don’t make hole our ship .
Happy Birthday President Obama! 🎂 Barack Obama has always believed in the power of what people can do when we come together. It’s something he learned in his days as a community organizer, and it’s what fueled his time as a senator and president. The mission of the Obama Foundation is rooted in that same idea—that nothing is more powerful than millions of people taking action for positive change. There are those that are good public speakers, and then there are the few in a generation that are truly great orators. It doesn’t matter if you like his politics or not, if you just listen to how he delivers, you know that former President Barack Obama is on a different level. What an amazing speaker. #LeadershipMatters

Interesting perspective on the role of primaries in ensuring a democratic process. It's a reminder that no matter how experienced or confident leaders may be, the voice of the people through primaries is crucial. History has shown that assumptions can lead to surprising results, reinforcing the need for a transparent and inclusive selection process.
a meditation on hubris.. Biden thought he could nominate his successor, without any primary- Obama had made the same arrogant assumption when he pressed Biden to step aside in favor of Clinton...we know how both worked out. There is a reason why primaries exist, both these Presidents thought they knew better....l

The hope of a skinny kid with a funny name who believes America has a place for him too" best speech #BarackObama Obama's #2004DemocraticNationalConvention (DNC) speech is often considered a turning point in modern American political history. My reflections capture the essence of that powerful moment. Obama, then a relatively unknown state senator, rose to national prominence through this remarkable speech that unified rather than divided, emphasizing shared ideals over partisan differences. When Obama said, "There is not a liberal America and a conservative America—there is the United States of America," it resonated deeply because it tapped into a longing for unity. This moment was critical not just for Democrats, but for many Americans who felt frustrated by the increasing political polarization. His message broke through the noise, transcending typical political rhetoric. #Obama's rhetorical gifts, combined with the authenticity we mention, gave his words weight. His personal story—"the hope of a skinny kid with a funny name who believes that America has a place for him too"—made him relatable to so many. He represented both the ideals of the American Dream and the belief that anyone, regardless of background, could rise to great heights. Without that 2004 DNC speech, his presidential run in 2008 might not have gained the same momentum. What makes Obama stand out, as we pointed out, is his combination of intellect and oratory. His sincerity and authenticity helped him forge connections with diverse audiences. His speeches didn’t just offer soundbites; they felt like a call to action, a plea for a more inclusive, united America. That DNC speech was undoubtedly the moment that laid the groundwork for his ascent to the presidency. https://lnkd.in/eknwyCkw
