You're ACCA qualified? No thanks, I want a CA(SA). If you've HEARD this, tell me your story. If you've SAID this, I want to hear why. The CA(SA) designation as our most prestigious financial qualification. No argument from me, it's understandable. SAICA is South Africa's own. Backed by our Big4 firms, they have dominated the accounting sector in SA for decades. But SAICA is no longer the only path to becoming a Chartered Accountant in South Africa. We've seen the ACCA designation enter our market through foreign nationals in years past, but now you can do your ACCA articles with a local auditing firm! What is the fundamental difference between the two qualifications? Do you think the market will ever accept ACCA as an equal qualification to the CA(SA)? I welcome informed opinions on this matter as I am no expert. #ACCA #CA #SAICA

☕ Happy Monday ☕ Here are a few things to think about if you are sitting accountancy exams in June. ✅ Write that study plan ✅ Create a positive mindset ✅ Communicate to others that you have these exams soon ✅ Seek extra support if you need it (Accountancy Hub!) ✅ Prioritise studying over work (not easy but it's only for a few weeks) What do you find most difficult out of these? It's the last one for me! #studytips #accountancyexams #aca #icaew #acca #cima #cipfa #aat #mindset #finance

Ever wondered which countries ACCA's can practice in? Watch the latest super short video to know further. Link in comments! I haven't mentioned the obvious that ACCAs can ofcos Practice all over the UK. You need to make sure you take Audit and Tax in optional papers, have experience working in Audits and then you can apply for Certificate of Practice. If anyone wants to travel abroad for a career, I would strongly suggest going to these countries! And yes, all the very best for your upcoming results, will be praying for you! 🤞🏽 #acca #accaindia #accastudents #accaglobal #accaresults #accaexams
