The global LVAD market was valued at USD 1.4 billion in 2022 and is expected to grow at a CAGR of 7.20% until 2030, reaching a value of USD 2.3 billion by the end of the period*. 👉🏿 In Germany alone, the need is estimated to be 40 000 - 60 000 artificial hearts per year. It can thus be concluded that the market demand for artificial hearts is significantly higher than the supply.
