Pleased to share our upcoming presentation at the 12th World Biomaterials Congress! This study focuses on the development of photocrosslinkable and biodegradable hydrogels for the controlled release of exosomes. These hydrogels exhibit highly tunable properties and have potential for non-invasive injection or implantation. By studying the release mechanisms, we aim to understand how the physical properties of these hydrogels influence the exosome release kinetics. This study serves as a proof of concept and a starting point to develop innovative strategies that address the challenge of efficiently delivering nanoparticles to the target site. The abstract also shows our interdisciplinary approach, highlighting the collaboration between Tecnológico de Monterrey Escuela de Ingeniería y Ciencias and University of Illinois Chicago. Take a look! #Biomaterials #DrugDelivery #WBC2024
