Next, you see a "Marketing Manager"role. You think, "This might be it!" Nope, turns out it's a "Performance Marketing Coordinator" position. One more try—a promising job listing—only to discover it's focused on "Email and Influencer Marketing". Dear HR professionals, a humble request: Please be clear and precise with job titles. Mislabelling roles doesn't just waste the applicant's time, it creates unnecessary frustration and confusion. Recently, I've seen many hiring posts where companies are looking for a Digital Marketing Manager with 3-5 years of experience and a Senior Manager with 4-8 years of experience. This cheapens the "Senior" title and implies the company is throwing around titles without understanding the true responsibilities of these positions. My guess is they either have NO clue what a manager/sr. manager does, or they're hoping a fancy title will attract someone who works for peanuts. Anyone else seeing these hilarious job postings? Apparently, all it takes is 3-5 years to become a Digital Marketing Manager rockstar, and a mere extra year grants you senior-level zen mastery. Calling all experienced DM Managers who know their worth!  Is this undervaluing expertise, or just plain delusional hiring or companies struggling to budget for it?
