After all the #prayers, #planning, #meetings, pre-event #media #production, #coordination and #implementation; it was now time to pause, take a breath, take #stock of all that was accomplished and let go as #delegates were about to arrive and the event was about to start in a few hours. 3 things I learned over the last few months from the exceptional men that made this day possible: 1. #Collaborate : Many of us are #excellent at what we do, but because we do it alone we limit our degree of reach and impact 2. #Compliment : When working in a team, it's important for each member to clearly comprehend their #role + #responsibility as well as the #value it brings to the overall #team goal. 3. #Complete : It's very important to finish what you start and remain #consistent in contributing to its success to the end.
