You can group train technology all day long but it's important to circle back to 1:1 training and work with the person to see what pain points they may be experiencing.

A good IT tech is only as capable as their actual experience allows. While they may claim to be skilled, without hands-on practical training, their knowledge and education risk becoming obsolete over time.

The idea is that mistakes SHOULD be occuring in practice if effective learning is taking place.

If your training is teaching you how to do something, that’s good. If you understand why you’re doing what you just learned, that’s even better. But if you can’t explain to someone else how to do what you've learned, including getting them to understand why it’s a good thing, all of this has limited value. We need a new kind of learning opportunity that is effective and affordable and closes the technology gap. Fortunately it is here.
