A good IT tech is only as capable as their actual experience allows. While they may claim to be skilled, without hands-on practical training, their knowledge and education risk becoming obsolete over time.

When it comes to Virtual Instructor-Led Training (ILT) and In-Person ILT, is there really a difference? Regarding cost and flexibility, Virtual ILT is a definite winner! It has also been found that there is little difference in the quality of instruction between Virtual ILT and In-Person ILT. Hands-on learning does tend to be more appropriate with In-Person ILT, but with modern technology, learning hands-on is possible virtually. Want to learn more? In formal education, we reward learners for showing that they *can* do something. Real life rewards those who actually do it. So why does most training and enablement in corporate settings stop at "can pass a quiz" or "sat still for the required hours of training"?
