Same scenario or worse? ⚽ 🌍 So far it looks like FIFA has not taken into account the environmental impact and disaster of 2022. If immediate action isn't taken, we risk repeating or worsening past mistakes. We cannot afford another ecological disaster within the sports industry. The disaster of 2022 should serve as a wake-up call. Sustainability measures are crucial to reduce ecological impact. According to David Black and this articles, the World Cup must change its DNA by 2030 to avert further harm. Here are some key recommendations: 🚆 Transportation: Minimize long-distance travel -  Offer free public transportation within host cities -  Reduce ticket prices for local residents 🍽️ Food: -  Enhance recycling and composting systems -  Provide free access to drinkable water These measures are very easy to set up, there are not enough though. The question remains: How can we transform major events into sustainable events? Do you have more sustainable initiatives to share? Let's discuss and push for positive change together.
