CAD Experts, Let’s hear your thoughts! 💬 Let’s Start a Discussion: Is AI-Driven, Voice-Powered Packaging Design the Future? 💬 What if, by 2034, brand owners could create corrugated and paperboard structures with just their voice? How do you think the backend would need to evolve to support this? Real-time processing, AI model integration, and enterprise-level databases seem crucial. Do you think legacy systems like Esko which lack enterprise-level databases, will struggle to adapt compared to platforms? Will scalability be the ultimate differentiator? Let’s hear your thoughts! #AI #packagingdesign #datainfrastructure #futuretech #innovation

this is AI aided design I made. in addition I think that AI will overtake the traditional software we are used to. Moreover, I believe that it will make things a lot easier and I believe that it won't kill the creative mind of an architect and designer if they have identity in their style

As machine learning continues to advance, we can expect to see even more exciting applications emerge that push the boundaries of what's possible in design. The key is to embrace these technologies as powerful tools that augment and empower designers, not replace them. https://lnkd.in/dvPGGTqP #machinelearning #artificialintelligence #design #generativedesign #predictivedesign #automation #productivity #futureofdesign

This The Wall Street Journal article highlights how smaller generative AI models perform nearly as well as the large ones, at a fraction of the cost. The key is focus the models on a “well-defined problem area and set of tasks”. This will definitely apply to how GenAI is applied to use cases for how products are designed, manufactured, serviced & operated. PTC has seen this with our generative design capabilities in Creo. There are also no brainer PLM use cases that this will apply such as parts rationalization, change management and processing field feedback. #GenAI #creo #windchill #servicemax

I had so much fun being a guest on Low Down on Low-Code, and if you're interested in topics like these, this episode is for you! • The new "4-in-a-box" • How designers need to adapt design and testing in the era of AI • Top-down vs. bottom-up • 5 and 10 year projections • The promise of agentic AI • My pseudo-confidence about AI not going completely off the rails • A new intermediate skill level as the default • Plus...book plug: Big Data, Big Design by Helen Armstrong Thanks to Rob Koplowitz and Ryan Duguid for having me! (And for once, I wasn’t the one to bring up board games!)
Wouldn’t you love a brilliant design mind to help you build low-code applications with incredible user user experience? This week’s Low Down on Low-Code features IBM Master Inventor Laura Rodriguez. Laura has seventeen patents and joins Ryan Duguid and Rob Koplowitz with insights into how AI will change, enhance and challenge user experience. For low code design and development professionals, this episode is a must see. Laura provides a long view of AI in user experience and also grounds us in more near-term opportunities to rethink user design and help scale low-code initiatives with great design in your organization. Does she foresee a future where there is a virtual Laura co-pilot guiding your design efforts. You’ll have to listen to find out.
