𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐭𝐡: 𝐩𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐝𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐩-𝐛𝐲-𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐩 𝐝𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐬. 𝘈 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘰𝘯 𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘐 𝘴𝘦𝘦 𝘦𝘥𝘶𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘶𝘳𝘴 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦: Spending much time explaining the process and how they will achieve results. What’s missing? A clear emphasis on the results themselves! Let's take a look at an example: “We will conduct a needs assessment, followed by a series of workshops and evaluations to enhance your team’s instructional practices,” While details can be useful, they distract from what really matters! Instead - stick to the results. “Within three months, your team will be empowered with effective teaching strategies that lead to improved student engagement and higher achievement scores across the board.” Potential clients don’t care about the process. What they care about is: ✅ What’s in it for them? ✅ What transformation can they expect? ✅ How will their lives or their students’ performance improve? By focusing on outcomes you: ✅ Build trust ✅ Grab attention ✅ Speak directly to needs and desires Stop focusing on your process: ✅ Speak directly to your clients’ needs. ✅ Show them the transformation you deliver. ✅ Clearly communicate the outcomes they can expect. That’s what makes them want to work with you. Here are two templates to focus on what matters most—results. 1️⃣ In just [Timeframe], your [Target Audience] will [Transformation], leading to [Tangible Results]. 2️⃣ Within [Timeframe], your [Target Audience] will be equipped with [Skill or Strategy], resulting in [Desired Outcome]. PS - Outcomes lead to clients. Results are what they’re after. --------------------------------------- Join my FREE MasterClass: "The 5-Step Blueprint to Earning More While Working Less as an Edupreneur!" Everyone I talk to wants a Super User Network that survives and thrives beyond a project. Are you in this number? Here are some reasons I’ve seen for why companies don’t have a Super User Network beyond projects: 1. They thought Super Users would leave the project and continue their super work together. When that didn’t happen, there was really no owner to figure out how to fix that. 2. They tried multiple times to keep their Super User team together after projects ended, but always got the same result that didn’t meet the expectation. Again, they didn't know how to fix that. 3. Leaders don’t really know how to do this and so it gets stuck with the intent of making it happen eventually. Are you seeing a trend? 4. They lack an understanding of what a sustainable Super User Network is versus a group of business SMEs who play roles within the boundaries of a project. And so their approach mirrors a project approach, and this does not work. 5. They don’t see the value and so they think it’s the Super User Network concept and not the approach they have taken. In my experience, it's always the approach that doesn't produce the results. EVERY company needs a healthy Super User Network! You just need to know how to build it and sustain it by following a proven model. And guess what, I can help you like I've helped many others. July 22-26 I'm delivering the workshop that will show you how! 5 days, 3 hours per day in a virtual classroom. https://lnkd.in/ezhuZmjk Act now, I only take 10 people per workshop, and I only offer this 1-2 times per year.

Struggling to get a clear sense of where you are progress-wise? You're not alone – it's a common problem. From my forthcoming book 'Wholehearted: Engaging with Complexity in the Deliberately Adaptive Organisation', here's why: In large endeavours such as product development, one important reason why progress can seem hard to evaluate is that there are many ways to break down, organise, and sequence the work – by architectural component, use case, or feature, to name just three. Once broken down, the work can be organised and sequenced in any number of ways; mathematically, the possible combinations grow factorially with the number of work items, making even exponential growth seem tame. Even if – and that’s a big if – those original structures aren’t lost to those who are working and coordinating in the “here and now” on a few items at a time, the expectations of those who made the commitments, those doing the work, and those who stand to benefit from it can easily diverge. Moreover, that’s just looking at outputs (what is produced), not outcomes (its impact)! There is a lot there to get right, and plenty of opportunity therefore for disconnects to arise. We’ll get to some solutions shortly. To set expectations, I’m not about to argue that the answer is always more detailed contractual agreement between everyone concerned. We tried that, and it failed more often than it succeeded. We need to focus instead on the relationships involved. [The passage I allude to in that last paragraph has been shared previously on LinkedIn – I'll link to it in the comments]

Great insights on the importance of starting any change programme well.
Good beginnings Like any good book it is the first chapters that determine if you continue gripped, or after a little perseverance give up and consign back to the bookshelf. Keen gardeners, spend weeks meticulously preparing the ground long before the beautiful blooms have sprung. What these examples all have in common is good beginnings. The future outcome is greatly influenced by the preparation put in at the start. Achieving good change adoption is rightly zoomed in on at go live, but investing time upfront will help ensure the right focus, the right effort, the right engagement and right plan needed to make the change a real success. Short circuiting considerations such as active sponsorship, capacity of the business, to name a few at the start can lead to delays, cost, loss of trust, and risk not achieving the desired outcomes. Whilst tools like Business Readiness Assessments are incredibly helpful, they often come after the main work of the project is well established, making it difficult to course correct or identify potential pitfalls before they happen. Click below to see the areas we believe are essential to consider when getting off to a good start. Tell us what you think. https://lnkd.in/ee-ThQuD
