There is a high cost to uneven load distribution and, unfortunately, it's often a hidden cost. Uneven load distribution adds increased stress to truck components, reducing their working life and adding substantial costs to operations. We've heard it countless times; trucks having excessive tyre wear, voiding warranties and requiring premature replacement. But, by using a Mine Payload Scanner, users are given a 3D scan by the system that breaks the truck bin into four quadrants. This provides a valuable visual reference of how the load is sitting in the bin, which can then be used for training and coaching loader operators.
