During #EUDay, we spotlight the transformative power of inclusive agriculture initiatives. These projects play a vital role in tackling pressing global issues such as poverty, hunger, and environmental degradation. Moreover, they foster sustainable economic growth and development within rural communities Through our European Union-funded Technical Assistance to the Zimbabwe Agricultural Growth Programme (#ZAGP), we have facilitated the growth of underdeveloped livestock value chains and contributed to food security and incomes for smallholder farmers. The ZAGP Programme has strengthened local institutions and built capacity across the livestock sector, specifically in the beef, dairy, and poultry value chains, empowering Small and Medium Producers (SMPs) to thrive in challenging environments. https://bit.ly/4bNLjbR Watch the video on the Inclusive Poultry Value Chain initiative delivered under the ZAGP Programme to better understand the impact of EU-funded projects on the daily lives of farmers in Zimbabwe. #EuropeanUnion I #Zimbabwe I #Agriculture I #ValueChains I #Farmers I #ZAGP I Anne-Sofia Holmberg I Sofia Pla

This is exactly what small holders farmers need. Not as if people are not farming but farming manually is a hugh task labour intensive with minimal yields. But with mechanization small holders farmers can do more and produce yield. Keep up the good work Heifer International Africa and other partners.
