🎄 Each year, my family has two unique Christmas traditions inspired by the spirit of Saint Nicholas. ✨ The Santa Dinner: We visit a restaurant, secretly buy dinner for another family, and leave without revealing ourselves. ✨ The Christmas Eve Delivery: We pick someone who might need extra kindness—emotionally or physically—and deliver a surprise gift to their doorstep. 🏢 Why does this matter for the workplace? These traditions remind me that: 💠 Small acts of generosity ripple outward. Whether it’s buying a meal, offering extra support to a colleague, or recognizing someone’s hard work, generosity uplifts the whole culture. 💠 Generosity isn’t about resources—it’s about intention. Our family didn’t always have much, but we found creative ways to give. Similarly, in the workplace, you don’t need a big budget to show appreciation—a thoughtful email or acknowledgment in a meeting can make someone’s day. 🪩 One year, we learned this lesson the hard way. We unknowingly bought dinner for a family that had cut us off in traffic just minutes before. I hesitated, but my 12-year-old reminded me: “They might be hurting too.” In workplaces, like in life, people carry struggles we can’t always see.
