Jatin Nathwani The distinguished gentlemen are yet to discover an important Green Energy source - Brown's Gas HHO Oxyhydrogen (which was invented in 1973). Brown's Gas is now applied in combustion in industrial settings. However, the omission of information on potentially relevant technologies like Brown's Gas and Oxyhydrogen in the International Journal for Green Energy calls into question the journal's credibility and comprehensiveness. For a publication that claims to cover green energy topics, overlooking emerging solutions such as these raises concerns about the breadth and depth of its coverage. The Modern Energy Report by Andersen Global, which can be read online at the link https://lnkd.in/gvYnVkVJ, does include a mention of Brown's Gas on page 23. This suggests that other industry publications are recognizing the potential of this technology, while the International Journal for Green Energy has yet to do so.I would encourage the editors of the International Journal for Green Energy to take a closer look at innovations like Brown's Gas and Oxyhydrogen, in order to provide a more well-rounded and credible perspective on the evolving green energy landscape. #AirPollution #SouthAsia #CrossBorderIssues #RegionalCooperation #ClimateChange #PublicHealth #Sustainability #Smog #Airshed #IndustryEmissions #Transportation #ElectionYear #PoliticalChallenges

Yesterday marked a historic moment as the UK closed the doors on its final coal-fired power station, Ratcliffe-on-Soar. This pivotal milestone symbolises the end of an era that once powered the Industrial Revolution and fueled the nation’s economic growth. As we look ahead, our commitment to driving a sustainable energy future remains unwavering. The transition from coal to renewable energy sources is critical to achieving the UK’s ambitious net-zero goals, and ensuring that communities are empowered and supported during this transformation. To delve deeper into the closing of Ratcliffe-on-Soar and explore what lies ahead for UK energy, I recently recorded a podcast with Dr. Aidan Rhodes and Dr. Nadine Moustafa, Ph.D., discussing the challenges and opportunities of this transition. A month ago, on November 7, 2024, I had the honor of speaking at the III Toronto Economic Forum, hosted by the Delphi Economic Forum. Thank you to Symeon Tsomokos and all involved in organizing this impactful event! https://lnkd.in/e2_Q9ia5 As a sponsor of the forum, Metlen Energy & Metals joined discussions alongside Hon. Doug Ford, Premier of Ontario; Nikos Papathanasis, Greece's Alternate Minister of Economy & Finance; Ekaterini Dimakis, Ambassador of Greece to Canada; Stephen Lecce, Ontario’s Minister of Energy & Electrification; and Daniel Tisch, APR, FCPRS, ICD.D, President & CEO of the Ontario Chamber of Commerce, as well as the The Hellenic Initiative Canada. Together, we explored the importance of investment, clean energy, and the opportunities that lie ahead for sustainable growth. METLEN’s renewable projects exceed 10 GW worldwide, spanning five continents, with recent investments in Canada, Australia, and Chile. Our expertise in structuring Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) allows us to deliver customized, risk-mitigated energy solutions that support industrial demand with green power—bridging the gap between supply and demand for a stable, sustainable future. Our journey in Canada began with the acquisition of a 1.4 GW solar portfolio in Alberta, projected to produce 2.1 TWh annually— enough to power nearly 200,000 Canadian homes while reducing CO2 emissions. This initiative will also contribute to local economies, creating over 1,500 construction jobs and 115 permanent positions. With projects like Georgetown Solar and Sunnynook Solar ready to break ground, METLEN is committed to making a lasting impact on Canada’s renewable landscape. Opening our North American hub office in the City of Calgary marks a major milestone in our commitment to Canada. With its rich resources and focus on energy innovation, Canada offers an ideal environment for us to grow and collaborate with partners who share our vision for a sustainable future. METLEN’s growth trajectory reflects our deep commitment to renewable energy, with this sector now making up over two-thirds of our EBITDA. We’re constantly pushing boundaries, fostering innovation, and building impactful partnerships that will drive the energy transition. We look forward to playing a vital role in Canada’s journey toward a cleaner, greener future. #METLENENERGYANDMETALSINCANADA #PPAs #EnergyTransition #CleanEnergy #Canada

https://lnkd.in/e9EXy5qW Myself, Andrew Roberts, PE, CEM, BEAP and Reg Cook will be speaking this month (10/28 - see event link) at the Georgia AEE meeting on a topic that I, frankly, nerd out over a bit too much. That is the development of Energy auditing/Field Data Collection Apps. I am not shy to admit the development and standardization of energy audit processes behind modern data collection software is one of the reasons for our companies' success. It may seem like an odd topic, but it is a really important part of making an Energy Auditing business efficient and profitable. And with so many new tools and customization options, it can get really confusing on what is the best solution for you or your company. Come listen to myself, Andrew, and Reg discuss how these tools have changed the way we do business, and what features and capability are really making the difference.

🌿 Last September in Ukraine was hosted the "10th International Conference of Hydropower Engineers", where hydropower experts and stakeholders gathered to discuss the advancements in sustainable water management and renewable energy strategies. 🌿 📓 Our Ukrainian partner reviewed the conference materials and documentation to identify key stakeholders and gather insights relevant to the #RENEWAT project. Among the key takeaways were: 👉 The development of tailored water management and hydropower strategies based on the unique ecological needs of each river basin. 👉 The study of financial instruments and funding opportunities to support innovative hydropower technologies. 👉 The need to increase public awareness of the latest advancements in hydropower and its potential for sustainable development. 🌟 This valuable information strengthens the efforts with the #RENEWAT project in the Lviv region. The next step is now to discuss potential collaborations and set long-term goals for the project! 🌐 Find more about the conference here: https://lnkd.in/dit3tDrb #renewat #InterregEurope #watermills #renewableenergies #hydropower #Cooperation
