Exhibetter took center stage as the exclusive partner of the Hi-Life Trade Show, orchestrating a garment exhibition in Mauritius on February 21 and 22, 2024. This landmark event deviated from the conventional by featuring solely Indian exhibitors, marking a pivotal departure from the norm. Unlike international trade shows where Indian presence is often limited to pavilions, this solo showcase provided a dedicated platform for Indian businesses to flourish independently. By facilitating a focused environment, Exhibetter transformed the landscape, alleviating the intense competition typically faced by other exhibiting countries. This strategic shift not only empowered Indian exhibitors but also underscored their prowess in the global market. Exhibetter's exclusive partnership with the Hi-Life Trade Show represented a pioneering effort to spotlight Indian talent and innovation within the garment industry, reaffirming its commitment to fostering growth and opportunity in the realm of trade exhibitions. This unique event showcased only Indian exhibitors, breaking away from the traditional model and providing a dedicated platform for their success. To witness the highlights of this exceptional showcase and explore opportunities for future participation, check out the post-event report. Exhibetter holds the exclusive mandate to launch a series of international B2B trade shows focused on fashion garments, textiles, jewelry, and accessories worldwide, aiming for 6-7 shows annually. 🏮Fashion Design and Sourcing Insights, Canton Fair 135 th 🏮 After attending the 135th Canton Fair, I'm excited to share some fresh insights and opportunities I discovered: 🔹 More possibilities, diverse purchasing options: Many suppliers now offer Original Design Manufacturer (ODM) products. This allows brands to not only develop their unique products but also purchase pre-made items. You can have more styles without having to purchase large quantities, providing greater flexibility and variety. 🔹 Sustainability Takes Center Stage: There has been a marked increase in the availability of recycled and organic fabrics. Suppliers are also emphasizing their commitment to sustainability with an array of certifications. This shift towards eco-friendly options is perfect for brands looking to enhance their sustainability credentials. 🔹 Flexible Purchasing Arrangements: Suppliers are becoming more flexible with their purchasing options. While FOB (Free On Board) remains standard, many are now offering alternative arrangements to facilitate the transportation of goods to various countries. Interested in exploring these new sourcing possibilities? I’d love to help you connect with the right suppliers. There's 2 things going on with the furniture industry. 1- Economic Slow Down is one key point. But that's the nature of business. Expand and contract. It's a cycle. 2- Importantly, B2B Tradeshows haven't adapted to drive better ROI for exhibitors, or better experience for Buyers. The financial and time investment is huge. It's a pity - I would argue, as exhibitors, we're ready to invest, but for the right reasons. Eg, Imagine if a retailer was still running a 1990 playbook? It would be a disaster. In my experience, Tradeshows are conservative, not innovative, and stuck in the past. If I run my business like how Tradeshows run their business, especially in the last 3 years, I would have had to close my business down by now. The Tradeshow experience in Vietnam demonstrates how bad it's gotten; 2 Tradeshows, one after the other, competing for the same customer, in a slowing market. Madness. Who benefits? When you lose sight of the customer, that's when things collapse. We would rather spend our money elsewhere and buyers don't have the budget to go to several shows, that are mostly ineffective anyway. There's a quote I would share when coaching startup founders and entrepreneurs who were struggling to understand the changing markets, 'The markets haven't disappeared. It's changed.' B2B Furniture marketing has changed. Furniture Design, Development and Manufacturing hasn't changed, we still need to be competitive, compliant and offer great products and services. What are your thoughts? As a side thought, I would argue that it's time for value-added Sales Representatives to shine. How to find a them? (I'm looking for the US market especially.) #furnituredesign #furnituremanufacturer #Vietnam #China #Dubai #DeepGreenStandard #sourcing #productdevelopment #interiors #architects #projects #retail #B2B #privatelabel #originaldesign #oem #odm

Last week, we supported Textil Tapias during their visit to Australia as they explored opportunities to expand into this promising market. The team met with 9 potential partners, from wholesalers to manufacturers, and attended the Global Sourcing Expo in Melbourne, presenting tailored proposals at each meeting. We assisted with organizing their agenda, facilitating connections, and navigating key sectors like construction, protective equipment, and outdoor industries. Here’s how they described their experience: "A truly effective, enriching, and professional experience to initiate contacts from scratch on the other side of the world. We’d absolutely do it again!" 📩 If you’re an Australian company looking for a European partner offering high-quality fabrics and want to meet Textil Tapias, please reach out to us! #TextilTapiasGlobal #CataloniaAustralia #TradeExpansion #GlobalBusiness #Innovation #AustralianMarket
