Empowering students with opportunities to dress professionally is crucial for their personal and career development. Dressing professionally not only boosts confidence but also helps students develop a professional mindset, preparing them for the workforce. It teaches them the importance of making a strong first impression and conveys respect for the opportunities they are given. Providing these opportunities, whether through internships, school events, or career fairs, helps bridge the gap between academic life and professional careers, ensuring students are ready to step into the business world with poise and confidence. Let's support our students in every way possible, including how they present themselves to the world. #ProfessionalDevelopment #StudentSuccess #CareerReadiness

**Everyday I hear people/businesses say they want to do more in the DEI space** Here's your chance... Our partnered Girls Grammar School based in South London are hosting their first ever careers fair on the 27th March. 500-700 students are expected to attend from year 11 & Sixth Form. We need companies to provide students with valuable insights into career paths, industries and opportunities available to them. Especially #EarlyCareers such as #apprenticeships #internships #graduateopportunities Why help? ✔ Supporting events like this brings career paths and role models to the attention of students who might not otherwise consider them. ✔ This exposure sparks interest, challenges stereotypical perceptions, and expands their understanding of what's possible. ✔ This early engagement combats biases that might discourage students from certain fields due to perceived lack of fit or belonging. Career fairs are an essential platform that connects the academic world with the professional sphere. For undergraduates, these events provide invaluable opportunities to network with industry leaders, explore potential career paths, and gain a deeper understanding of employer expectations. More than just job searching, it’s a chance to secure internships and develop skills that can lead to long-term success. For companies, participating in career fairs is a powerful way to engage with emerging talent, build a pipeline for future recruitment, and foster relationships with motivated, high-potential students. It also allows companies to contribute to students’ professional development while reinforcing their brand presence within the academic community. We are thrilled to announce that Horizon Campus Annual Career Fair 2024 will take place on 30th October, bringing together our bright undergraduates and top employers. We sincerely thank the companies that have already confirmed their participation. If you haven’t yet registered but would like to be part of this exciting event, there’s still time! Contact us at nalika@horizoncampus.edu.lk to learn how you can participate and help shape the future workforce. Let’s work together to inspire and empower the next generation of professionals! #CareerFair2024 #HorizonCampus #FutureLeaders #InternshipOpportunities #TalentAcquisition #ShapingTheFuture #UniversityIndustryPartnership #CareerDevelopment #CorporateEngagement #CareerCraft
