Empowering students with opportunities to dress professionally is crucial for their personal and career development. Dressing professionally not only boosts confidence but also helps students develop a professional mindset, preparing them for the workforce. It teaches them the importance of making a strong first impression and conveys respect for the opportunities they are given. Providing these opportunities, whether through internships, school events, or career fairs, helps bridge the gap between academic life and professional careers, ensuring students are ready to step into the business world with poise and confidence. Let's support our students in every way possible, including how they present themselves to the world. #ProfessionalDevelopment #StudentSuccess #CareerReadiness

💥 We see posts every day on how people and businesses want to do more in the DEI space (sometimes not actually contributing more than a post!) Here is your chance to do something tangible and contribute! Our partnered Girls Grammar School based in South London are hosting their first ever careers fair on the 27th March. 500-700 students are expected to attend from year 11 & Sixth Form. We need companies to provide students with valuable insights into career paths, industries and opportunities available to them. Especially #EarlyCareers #apprenticeships #internships #graduateopportunities Why help? ✔ Supporting events like this brings career paths and role models to the attention of students who might not otherwise consider them. ✔ This exposure sparks interest, challenges stereotypical perceptions, and expands their understanding of what's possible. ✔ This early engagement combats biases that might discourage students from certain fields due to perceived lack of fit or belonging. Please DM me or get in touch via email for more info - reece.graves@oliverbernard.com or Naushine Robinson on naushine.robinson@oliverbernard.com Future CodeHers Oliver Bernard

BYU–HAWAII APCC 2024 Asia Pacific Career Conference is one of the coolest events that I can pariticipate as a student here in BYUH. Companies from various different places come to our school and meet with us, students to know about our school and share their experiences to us while creating countless opportunities for us through networking and possibly hiring us after gradution or through internships. I really love this event because I get to meet a lot of people who lead the companies around the world. Even though they are from many different places, they all have similar values and expectations from students like me. For example: - to have a good work ethic - to work in a diverse environment - to adapt and learn quickly - to use critical thinking skills - to be genuinely good human being The last one is probably the most important thing for me because company culture is very important for the employees to work efficiently, and having kindness that cares for each other really improve that culture. The list continues but I just want to show my gratitude for every companies that came to our school and giving us these opportunities. I went to APCC career fair event where every company representatives introduces their companies and give valuable information to us, and then I went to the networking event where we can just network and have meaningful conversations. I really like this event because not only students get to meet with them but companies can network with each other to learn from each other which created even greater opportunities for them as well.
