Sounds simple, but only the top 1% do it. You should try it. Eliminate every activity that is misaligned with what you're trying to achieve. Sounds easy, right? Yet only a few people do it. That's one of the reasons why so many people are so busy yet are nowhere close to achieving their goals. And that's not because they do nothing. But because with every misaligned activity we engage in, we take 5 steps backward. However, before you can effectively eliminate those activities that derail you... You must be really clear on what you want to achieve in the first place. Get clear on what you want to achieve and the activities that would get you there, then eliminate the nonessentials. The simple hack to staying focused? Saying NO. It’s easier said than done. So when distractions inevitably pop up, Ask yourself 3 questions: 1️⃣ Is this bringing me closer to my goals? 2️⃣ Is this something I said I would do? 3️⃣ Is this happening during my free time? But what happens is those same people fail to reverse engineer the actual activities and habits that will make those big goals happen. Oftentimes I see those same people overwhelmed. Trying to do everything, all at once. But what I’ve found is that too often people are causing themselves to be overwhelmed because they aren’t completely CLEAR on exactly what they want. It’s EXTREMELY important to reverse engineer the core activities that are in alignment with exactly what YOU want. It’s not going to be easy. But YOU will have to start saying NO to the things that aren’t in alignment with what YOU want. The more clear YOU get, the easier it will be to truly focus on the things that matter and say NO to the things that don’t. Once YOU have this figured out. LOCK IN to those activities EVERY DAMN DAY! (Most of your motivation wanes because you set unrealistic goals this doesn’t mean you need to aim lower, but setting achievable targets is essential! you should focus on: -SMART goals: Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound -Breaking larger goals into smaller, manageable milestones -Celebrating small victories to keep your spirit high -Adapting your goals as your circumstances and capabilities evolve Setting realistic goals will keep you engaged and help you build lasting habits! :)

Do I need to set goals or not ? Yes you need to set goals! Have you heard about 80/20 rule ? 🤔 80/20 Rule also called as Pareto Principle ➡️ Vital few= Top 20% ➡️ Trivial many = Bottom 80% According to this principle, 20 % of your activites will account for 80% of your results.. I was amazed on knowing this.. Most of us procrastinate on top 20% of items which are important and account for all the success, and instead focus on rest 80% which contribute very little to our success. It is important to write down 10 goals and select the top 2 goals which have greatest positive impact on our life and work at those goals all the time.. 🤩 You can't go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending 😇
