The town of Delamar was established in the area in June of 1900 while construction on the Sacramento Valley and Eastern Railroad began on December 11, 1906, this railroad company was incorporated on January 8, 1907, the purpose of the Sacramento Valley and Eastern Railroad, was to conduct a 15-mile standard gauge, ore, delivery, and passenger train from Bonita 3 miles north of Kennett to the Bully Hill smelter at Delamar. It was completed in 1908 and operated until 1939, due to the flooding of Shasta Lake for Shasta Dam. Between 1942 and 1945 Shasta Dam was under construction and its reservoir flooded this railroad system under Shasta Lake. It's often seen during drought seasons. The grade and railroad bed with its ties are still intact under the lake along Pit River and Squaw Creek which is seen here in this general overview of its lucrative history. What's not well-known to railroad enthusiasts and local history buffs is the fate of Engine #2 which succeeded after Engine #1 was taken out of commission. time mean within it something has a focus on something. all land surface transport are moving through focus on depth of the thing but water surface transport are moving through focus on rising of the thing and between two at land surface,, for transport isn't,, light from the thing is the focus and at water,, for transporting isn't,, sound from the thing or thing is the focus.. light maintain straight line but during following water path it lost itself as light but discover itself as sound..

The “Ghost Tracks” of New Jersey’s Cape May shoreline may be aptly nick-named … The 1900-era short line train tracks, which carried sand to a glass fabrication factory, might be the only track to make regular appearances to beach-goers, but it is far from the only railroad track in New Jersey that lives a partial existence, hanging around its old haunts like a ghost. These and many other abandoned—yet still intact—train tracks are a testament to the 𝐩𝐢𝐯𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐰𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬. New Jersey was ground-zero for the early-stage “boom and bust” of the American railroad industry in the 1800s. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐲’𝐬—𝐢𝐧 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐭, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐧𝐭’𝐬—𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐫𝐨𝐚𝐝 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐉𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐲; the 1815 charter for the Camden & Amboy Rail Road was the first of its kind. And yet, by the early 20th century, the state had also accumulated the most abandoned railroads in the country. In the early 1800s, the C&A was championed by the 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐖𝐚𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐨𝐚𝐭 𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐬, who operated steam boat routes on the Raritan Canal between Philadelphia and New York. He worried that up-and-coming railroad technology would threaten his shipping business, so he got ahead of it. Did you know? The longest road ever constructed is the Pan American Highway, spanning approximately 48,000 kilometers (30,000 miles) from Prudhoe Bay, Alaska, USA to Ushuaia, Argentina. The Pan American Highway passes through 14 countries which includes; USA, Canada, Mexico, Belize, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Argentina. The road was constructed for several decades, with the first section opening in 1923. The road is a not a single but a continuous road as such making it becomes the longest drivable road in world. However, it takes 6-9 months to drive the total length of the highway. The highway span through mountains, deserts, rainforests, and coastal routes. Some part of the highway are closed during certain times of the year due to weather conditions. The Guinness World Records also recognized Pan American Highway has the longest motorable road in the world. ConstructionChronicles✍️.

Casey Jones, PE, outlines the status of rebuilding / reconstructing the approximate 22 mile section of I-40 disseminated from Hurricane Helene. Mr. Jones provides a historical perspective, sites the book, Antifragile : Things That Gain from Disorder by author - Nassim Nicholas Taleb, and notes the current problems associated with the reconstruction of I-40 with the current design approach. Additionally, comments from viewers lend credence to a “viaduct” construction methodology. This 22-mile section does need restoring because of its critical commercial and travel implications; however, how will the reconstruction account for the recurring geological and weather-related conditions presented.
