Buy ingredients that can multitask! When planning your food shop, include ingredients that can be used in both dinners and lunches. A bag of spinach can stretch across a curry dinner and a salad for lunch, saving you money and reducing food waste! #LoveLunchWithoutFoodWaste

There's a big downstream effect that most people probably don't think about… Click here to learn more-> https://lnkd.in/ecD8rn5K #foodwaste #foodwastetips #BrightFuturesFitness #bffclienttips #Blog #blogpost #blogpostalert

Did you know that approximately 45% of the food that we waste at home are fruits and vegetables? 🥔 🍌 🥕 🍎 That’s why Love Food Hate Waste came up with Food Waste Action Week, which runs this week! This year’s theme is Choose What You’ll Use to highlight the benefits of buying loose fruits and vegetables. Buying in bulk works well when you have a plan for the food but, if not, buying loose allows you to buy only what you need. By choosing what is right for you — the size, quantity, shape, ripeness — you will prevent food waste by buying closer to your needs. Follow along this week, and check out Love Food Hate Waste for some great resources! https://buff.ly/3wZkhz7 #foodwasteactionweek #lovefoodhatewastecanada

Losing weight is about eating less calories BUT if you do it in a way where you restrict your portions you will eventually gain it back. You will be hungry for the whole period of losing weight. What do you expect will happen with all this cumulated hunger from past months when you were forcing yourself to eat less food?? You will eventually go back to your old portions because it's unsustainable strategy. The answer is not less food it's less calories! Those are 2 different things.
