As more folks become familiar with and begin to use community-based participatory research, it’s important to center equitable compensation. And as I’m sure many of my academic colleagues know, our institutions can make it very difficult to equitably compensate community partners and participants. This webinar, although targeted towards health departments, can be a starting point to learn some shared language and strategies to challenge outdated and inequitable infrastructure and processes in academia.
