As a leader, how do you show that you care? Many leaders hesitate to get up close – to truly understand their people and dig into the uncomfortable parts of being human in the workplace. Yet, this understanding is essential for both individual and organizational growth. Understanding people demands the ability to go beyond the surface. It involves asking questions, actively listening, and demonstrating empathy, all while being aware of your people's unique strengths, challenges, and goals. Caring "about" people is easy; caring "for" people requires awareness and understanding.
