More than 84% of Swedes choose Austria ⛷️ 🇦🇹 Together with Freeride, we made a survey to see which ski destination Swedes prefer. Based on 1417 responses, it became clear that 84.3% prefer to travel to Austria on their ski/snowboard trips, making Austria No. 1 on the list of favorite ski destinations among the respondents. And if you look at the Alps as a whole, almost 35% have already booked their trip there this winter. The questionnaire also reveals something else interesting: 60% of the respondents could imagine taking the train on a skiing holiday south - over 20% even say they would definitely choose the train if it is possible where they are going. We're proud and happy to see sustainable travel on the rise in Sweden ☘️ - and of course, it's great to see Austria as the favorite ski destination 🗻.
