Need a precise size distribution during particle size reduction? Then the ACM is one of the ultimate solutions, specially for dry herbs. An Air Classifier Mill (ACM) operates on the principle of impact grinding and air classification. It consists of a grinding chamber where particles are reduced in size by collision with rapidly moving hammers. Simultaneously, air flowing through the mill carries the particles to a classifier wheel, which separates them based on size. Fine particles are carried by the air to the product collector, while larger particles are returned to the grinding zone for further reduction. This process enables precise control over particle size distribution in the final product.
