I might be a paediatrician, but that doesn't mean I don't like to see the increase in publications on Adult outcomes in IMD. Earlier this year we heard from Fanny Mochel on how Adult services can inform paediatric practice, and publications like this one really high-light the success, and the gaps, in our current management approaches. Executive and adaptive function impacts long-term outcomes for adults with maple syrup urine disease Jessica Gold, Alanna Strong, Nina Gold, Marc Yudkoff, Dava Szalda, @Sophia Jan, Lisa Schwartz, Rebecca Ganetzky https://lnkd.in/gCQ5EJxg #MSUD

I am happy to share that I have received a new certificate: "Community Acquired Pneumonia in Children and Paediatric Respiratory History". This certification has empowered me with the skills and knowledge about the diagnosis, treatment, and management of pneumonia and respiratory conditions specifically in children. It covers topics like recognizing symptoms, understanding the causes, prescribing appropriate medications, and providing care to children with respiratory issues. #HorizonMedicalEsucation #APSU #Pneumonia #RespiratoryDistress #CausesOfPneumonia #Treatment
