"All housing associations should take a values-based approach to recruitment and development of staff, and clearly define expectations around attitudes and behaviours that encourage outstanding customer service." That's a direct quote from The Better Social Housing Review. Big Picture Training is proud that our USP aligns with this vision by offering specialised values-based customer service training to the housing sector. ✅ A values-based approach ensures that staff are not only skilled but also demonstrate the attitudes and behaviours essential for delivering exceptional service. This leads to higher customer satisfaction and stronger community relationships. 🔍 Clear expectations around attitudes and behaviours create a cohesive, service-oriented environment. Our training programs help organisations set and maintain these standards, ensuring consistency and excellence in every interaction. 🚀 Big Picture Training Advantage: Big Picture Training provides comprehensive values-based customer service training tailored to meet the unique needs of the social housing sector. Our programs are designed to develop empathetic, respectful, and dedicated staff who are committed to outstanding service. 🌟 By investing in values-based training, housing associations can #makeadifference to their service quality and ultimately resident satisfaction. Our training not only enhances staff performance but also contributes to a positive organisational culture and community well-being. ❤️Let's work together to #makeadifference! 🏠 #SocialHousing #CustomerService #ValuesBasedTraining #CommunityFirst #BetterHousing #BigPictureTraining

#Damp #Mould and #Condensation needs everyone's attention. We have developed a short on-demand course for those in non-technical roles to gain a greater understanding of this huge issue in our housing stock.
https://lnkd.in/eTs6Jnnr A fantastic initiative as much greater awareness of #DAMP #MOULD & #CONDENSATION is required. Recently I developed a short 2.5/3 hour training module for the Environment Study Centre. It raises awareness of these issues and has been very popular in social housing circles. It's online self paced and learners are tested as they go and recieve a CPD certificate on completion - find out more https://lnkd.in/eQaS8-ii

This training might include but is not confined to: Level 2 Diploma in Care Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care Level 3 Award in Education & Training Level 3 Diploma in Management Level 5 Award in Management & Leadership Level 3 Diploma in Customer Service Level 3 Diploma in Sales Moreover, there are clear social value outcomes built into the contract, which will enable an improvement in available resources from food banks to ICT. We are very keen to talk to employers about this and about how we might collaborate and work towards well trained and motivated staff. Connect with us for a start and let us know what you think of the above. We can arrange to speak online or by phone or in person. Pinnacle Group Limited, a provider of housing and community-facing neighbourhood services across the UK, is set to offer more affordable accommodation across the country as it boosts its portfolio by 250 homes. The homes – constructed by developer Persimmon – will now fall under the management of Pinnacle Spaces, one of Pinnacle’s two Registered Providers, who will act as landlord. Pinnacle Spaces aims to increase the supply of high-quality, well-managed affordable housing across England and Wales, and this latest deal brings the number of properties in its portfolio to over 1,000, whilst the total number of homes across the Group’s affordable housing portfolio approaches the 1,500 threshold. It achieves this through an effective combination of access to large-scale funding through partnerships with institutional investors, alongside effective utilisation of Pinnacle Group’s tried and tested operating platform. Over the coming months, the new homes, which are a mix of social rent and shared ownership, will be available to local people in Burgess Hill, Mid Sussex; Weston, Spalding; Wantage, Oxfordshire; and Exning, Newmarket. The additions will increase Pinnacle Spaces’ portfolio to around 500 homes, with an upcoming pipeline expecting to swell numbers to over 1,000 in the coming months. #housing #facilitiesmanagement https://lnkd.in/ecJzR-sr

If you came to my webinar on Boundaries and Walls yesterday you will know that I gave a shameless plug for these new 'mini' qualifications. But I was thinking about it this morning. And actually it wasn't a shameless plug but instead a 'call to action'!!! I really believe that if the housing team who managed the area where there was that wall collapsed (the first case study that I shared) had had a basic knowledge about walls, then a tragedy could have been prevented. Now, if you are a housing provider you could use these to 'grow your own' building surveyors, but I really believe that you should consider these as part of your 'tenant satisfaction measures' strategy. #socialhousing #residentialproperty #housing
Did you know we've launched a new range of self-paced, online qualifications to enhance skills in the social housing sector? These Level 4 Awards provide crucial information on topics ranging from foundations and roofs to damp and condensation and everything in between. You can then stack them to build certificates. Browse the modules currently available at: https://lnkd.in/em9-FVCn Sava Director, Hilary Grayson, said: "It’s everyone’s right to live in safe, secure and dry accommodation and we believe our new qualifications will give social housing managers the skills to provide this consistently." #socialhousing #ukhousing #housingproviders

Excited to attend the Public Sector Building Back Britain conference, focusing on key issues like public transport, housing, skills, and the environment. Personally and professionally I'm particularly interested in the discussions around skills development. The introduction of Skills England and the government's focus on closing the skills gap is crucial, especially in sectors like construction, where shortages are most pressing. Working for BOSS Training Limited, I see first-hand the need for flexible, practical training that equips individuals with the skills employers require. The new focus on aligning post-16 training with industry needs is a positive step forward, and I'm excited to be part of this journey, helping to bridge the gap and ensure the workforce is prepared for the future. #PublicSector #Procurement #BuildingBackBritain #Housing #Construction #Skills #SkillsGap #Training #SocialValue
