We must remember that alongside the escalating civil war, Syria is also profoundly affected by the worsening regional situation. Since the onset of the war in Gaza, Israel has intensified its attacks within Syria, resulting in the loss of civilian lives and the destruction of vital infrastructure. Adding yet another layer to the ongoing civil war and an already dire and worsening crisis, displacing millions and inflicting immense humanitarian suffering. Let us not forget the Syrian people. https://lnkd.in/gcKf4GWJ

“We deserved more time to celebrate being freed from the butcher who dominated our lives. We earned an eternity of joy. But that’s not possible – and it’s okay.” The impossible has happened: the Assad regime has fallen. Syria now stands at a crossroads. Yassin Swehat lays out the urgent challenges ahead of the newly-liberated Syrian nation. In the immediate future, Syria must confront the Israeli incursion into Syrian territory, ensure the return of the recently displaced, and establish a broad political and civil coalition that can prevent further violence on the ground. In the longer term, Syria is in need of stability in order to reduce, over time, its dependence on external aid. But the process must begin now. "Israel’s war on Gaza updates: Hamas chief’s sons killed in Israeli attack | Israel War on Gaza News | Article of Al Jazeera My question where the three sons terrorist? I don't know, perhaps they were or not. Are all the Palestians terrorists? No Now if Hamas are using them as shields, that is inhuman. The killing of humanitarian aid workers, no matter which side, but is clear the Workers working in Gaza are not in the same scenario or protection, of those working on the other side. Those who are financing Hamas and know the use of their own people as shield, should stop financing Hamas, a senseless war, and must do all to protect Palestinians. The resolution of the Security Council has had no effect. If it would have been a resolution affecting a developing poor country, the powers that are will also have exercised a more real pressure. The killing is not being, and will not be stop, there is much at stake for the powers that are. The treatment in the Russia Ukrainian War, there is more pressure exercise with real sanctions of nations towards the aggressor. We are nearing half of the year 2024, with no view of a stop or ceasefire. What is prevailing? What is the difference in treatment, and the importance given, showing us? The answer is loud and clear. Life is one, death is many, power is surpassing the price of LIVES. Death is reigning.

Ask yourself why this is so? Why are there not protests on college campuses? Why are there not op-eds in the legacy media condemning these attacks? Because antisemitism is fashionable and an acceptable form of hatred in some of these places. Turkey bombs the Kurds? Meh, not exciting enough for the college kids or clickbait worthy enough for the legacy media. Some of the protestors are so trendy and ignorant that they might be thinking they have to pick between eating turkey or cheese curds. Others? Because they do not want to know, do not know history or because no Jewish people are involved. And the legacy media? Why do these bombings get more column inches? They should know better. Those who want decent, modern societies should stand up to totalitarians. But somehow, they do not and will not. Until it is too late.
💧 1,000,000 Kurds are without water and electricity Turkish airstrikes in northeastern Syria have destroyed critical infrastructure, plunging Kurdish civilians into a dire humanitarian crisis. Yet, pro-Palestinian activists and human rights organizations—who claim to oppose genocide, ethnic cleansing, famine, and war crimes—remain silent. Do they truly stand for these principles, or do they only speak out when Israel can be falsely blamed?

UN creates I S R A E L, destroys P A L E S T I N E and wants to play the hero. Sanction I S R A E L now. P A L E S T I N E 🇵🇸, a country, is disappearing before our eyes in 2024 and other neighbouring Arab countries are under heavy bombardment due to colonial greed and support from the western societies. The Middle East is in danger. 💡Their agenda has never been peace but occupation, destruction and appropriation of neighbouring countries. 💡 How can the international communities believe this is Self-Defence and support it in 2024 and subscribe their names to the new Holocaust?💡

The UN must declare northern Gaza a disaster zone requiring immediate intervention and compel Israel to halt the genocide being carried out by its army through systematic and widespread mass and individual killings, deliberate starvation, mass forced displacement, and the complete destruction of the remaining essentials for life. The international community’s silence and inaction render it complicit in this brutal genocide. The Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor’s field team has documented heinous crimes against civilians in Beit Lahia, the Jabalia Refugee Camp, and across the northern Gaza Strip as the Israeli occupation army escalates its attacks, bombing several homes and killing over 80 Palestinians in Beit Lahia overnight. The previous night, the Israeli military bombed homes belonging to the Al-Hawajri, Nassar, and Abu Al-Aish families in the Tel Al-Zaatar area of Jabalia Camp, killing 33 Palestinians and injuring over 70 others. On the other hand, raids from the north reached the center of Hames city. However, Hames was not completely under their control. On the other hand, the Assad regime withdrew from parts of the desert region of Deir al-Zor, leaving it to the YPG/PKK group. Areas currently controlled by major parties: Opposition groups: 28,525–45,919 sq km Assad regime: 76,109–1,02,897 sq km YPG/PKK: 46,308–65,039 square kilometers

The fatigue levels among Palestinian (and I include Sudan, Congo, Syria and all those suffering at the hands of oppressors) individuals enduring the harrowing impacts of wars, conflicts, genocides are reaching unprecedented levels. After nearly seven months of enduring genocide, systematic ethnic cleansing, and assaults on civil defense and medical aid providers, these individuals have depleted all their physical, mental, and emotional resources. How can we expect them to cope with yet another escalation, such as the recent Rafah air and military land invasion? The sheer weight of these ongoing atrocities is unimaginable. It's crucial for us, as global citizens, to comprehend the immense toll these prolonged conflicts take on individuals and communities. We must advocate for peace, support humanitarian efforts, and stand in solidarity with those affected by these crises. Let's not turn a blind eye to their suffering. Let's amplify their voices and work towards ending these atrocities, ensuring a future where such fatigue and suffering are no longer a reality. #ceasefirenow #palestinelivesmatter #freefreepalestine #stopgenocide #stopwarcrimes #stoparmingisrael #StopTheViolence #SupportHumanity #StandForPeace --- https://lnkd.in/dAv_4Wer https://lnkd.in/dAv_4Wer
