At the end of the day, one of the largest benefits of an analytical approach is the ability to safeguard decision making from biases. The most damning thing a marketer can do is make decisions without data to back it up—or even worse, ignoring data because of pre-existing biases. And if you don’t have the data available, a strong knowledge of your customer will help you learn how to create and gather it.
