I am thrilled to announce that I’ve earned my third gold-sealed Certificate of Specialization from Harvard Business School Online, this time in Business in Society. Having completed courses in Global Business, Power and Influence for Positive Impact, and Sustainable Investing, I’ve deepened my understanding of how businesses can thrive while contributing positively to the world around us. This achievement marks another important milestone in my continuous learning journey, which is driven by my passion for both personal and professional growth. These courses have not only expanded my knowledge but also reshaped how I approach business challenges. The importance of global dynamics, the power of influence for good, and the impact of responsible investing now stand at the forefront of my mindset. As I look ahead to my next business involvement, I am excited to bring these perspectives into action. I believe that businesses can—and should—drive both profitability and positive societal change. I’m eager to contribute to organizations where innovation, sustainability, and purpose are key drivers of success. Thank you Harvard! The Exeter MBA philosophy that has led to top rankings. We're excited to share this insightful video interview and accompanying article by MBATUBE™ | MBAGRADSCHOOLS, featuring Exeter MBA Programme Director Prof. Donald Lancaster. When discussing the MBA's dedication to prioritising sustainability, Professor Lancaster states: "We are inspiring leaders for a better world. And I think, unlike a lot of schools, we actually walk the walk rather than just talk about sustainability." This can be seen with the recent excellent news that we retained our position as #1 in the UK for the Corporate Knights 'Better World' MBA ranking, achieving this status for the second year in a row. Business schools need academic rigor, but that is only the start – knowledge without action is futile. Do you agree? At INSEAD, we embed sustainability deeply into our teaching and #research in ways that drive action, and hence, impact in the business world: 💚 As the capstone to their curriculum, #MBA students play roles of company leaders solving strategic sustainability challenges, bridging the think-do gap faced by many business leaders today: https://lnkd.in/gtU_mxWe 💚 Initiatives such as the Master Strategist Day (MSD) see students working with real-world organisations and #socialenterprises, learning through hands-on experience and achieving real-world impact: https://lnkd.in/gvx6chiJ 💚 Our pioneering Business Sustainability Programme is catered to C-suite and senior executives, inspiring businesses from the top-down: https://lnkd.in/gGAWBTGB 💚 Our #faculty and their research has helped companies implement transformations for good (our Professors Atalay Atasu and Luk Van Wassenhove even had a hand in advising the European regulations on the circular economy!). If you were a #businessschool student today, how else would you want #sustainability to be integrated into your learning experience? Share it with us in the comments below! #inseadmoments #academicimpact #academicexcellence

🎓 🎙 Daniel Sharaiha's commencement speech was a call to action for HEC Paris 2024 graduates and all future leaders. Daniel is a proud graduate of the Executive Master (EMS - GEMM HEC Paris Executive Education) in Change Leadership in collaboration with University of Oxford, a program celebrating its 20th anniversary. He spoke of his academic journey as a progressive path towards understanding the notion of change and change management. Daniel drew attention to the staggering global inequalities, including those faced by women, to highlight the urgent need for global change and the role that educated, compassionate leaders can play in addressing these issues. 🌐 The world is broken. The world needs change. To lead this change, Daniel invited his fellow graduates to live by global values such as justice, hope, peace, unity, tolerance, life, humanity and sustainability. Equity, diversity and intercultural dialogue are undoubtedly the values that drive Daniel the most. 🙏 👏 Thank you Daniel for reminding all 2024 graduates that their degree carries with it the responsibility to act for meaningful and lasting change in the world, and is a source of empowerment. 💓 And as you suggested, let's lead with our hearts, because love and empathy can also be powerful tools for change. #HECgrad24 #commencementspeech #graduationspeech #2024graduates #2024graduation #graduation #executives #executivemaster #change #changemanagement #lifelonglearning #inequality #inequity #love #executiveeducation

📖 Happy news! Our latest research paper: "Implementing sustainability in teaching: The role of sustainability leadership and transformational leadership in the context of higher education institutions" has been published in Sustainable Development. The paper aims to explore the mechanism by which sustainability leadership and transformational leadership contribute to implementing sustainability-related aspects and the adoption of the SDGs by the teaching staff and whether these relationships are mediated by the higher education institutions (HEIs) level of social innovation tendency. This paper is part of the “100 papers to accelerate the implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals” initiative promoted by the Research and Transfer Centre Sustainability & Climate Change Management (FTZ-NK). This research sheds light on important mechanisms for promoting sustainability in education. Never say never to lifelong learning! 👨🏻🎓 And so, I decided to apply for a degree program at the Tomorrow University of Applied Sciences. What’s that? In a nutshell: The next generation university for leaders and change makers: 🚀 Since starting in November, I haven't regretted a single moment. Here, it's not just about acquiring knowledge, but about developing skills for the 21st century. This promise is fully realized in the impact MBA in Sustainability, Innovation, and Leadership. 🎯 After an initial orientation phase covering topics like Purpose & Mission, Innovation, Strategy & Responsible Organizations, I am now already in the midst of the Calibration Phase. This approximately 27-week deep dive allows me to deepen my knowledge and upskill in areas such as Sustainability Management, Data-Driven Leadership, and Transformation Processes. 🦋 The ToU and MBA team, including (no exhaustive list) Dr. Thomas Funke, Christian Rebernik , Dr. Maren Ingrid Kropfeld 🌱, Thomas Maidorfer and Irene Laochaisri, have built an excellent community where I can learn so much, especially due to the interdisciplinary composition. 🌱 And it was here that my mission statement was born: I embrace the challenge of our sustainable transformation by advocating for a new business as usual. #newusual #sustainability #nachhaltigkeit
