Engineering and Aerospace are sectors where great careers are forged, with usually just a few, or sometimes one, employer. There are many reasons than explain why; complexity of governing processes (airworthiness, traceability etc); benefits of relationships strengthened over time between different business areas; time required to develop the knowledge and authority to sign-off documents; the vast learning required that underpins all of this, just to name a few. Yet today, systems are well-defined, individual networks more closely fostered than ever, talent shortages and focus of development programs push people through the system, and incoming technologies will exacerbate these. Not only this, but breadth and diversity of experience is as integral to success and enjoyment in your professional life today as any of the above. Don't just take my word for it, large employers are making it a requirement for there to be experience outside of their business for people to progress within it. Read the article below and get in touch if you'd like to talk about how we can enable your career growth. #DanielOwen #Aerospace #Engineering #Recruitment

This is a very ALARMING 🚨 trend in the Engineering Industry. We are seeing this firsthand as recruiters that finding qualified engineers 👷♀️ is extremely challenging because up to 75% of engineers will NEVER work in the Engineering Industry. Because of the fact that this is one of the most expensive degrees available, does it make sense to work with a professional recruiter to find the right opportunity so you can thrive and flourish in your engineering career? #GPAC #Peace #Prosperity #PersonalSuccess #ProfessionalSuccess
