The destruction across the Southeast caused by Hurricane Helene is catastrophic and it will be a long time before we fully understand its toll. We are hearing from partners about the extent of the damage to trail communities across Southern Appalachia and western Florida and expect the long-term implications for these small towns and rural economies will be significant. Our hearts are with everyone who has experienced such devastating loss because of this storm. RTC has compiled resources to help those who are seeking immediate aid, ways people can help right now, and resources to support economic recovery and infrastructure rebuilding: https://lnkd.in/emmANkip.

live updates | diaanitv.com With Hurricane Milton closing in on Florida, it’s time to focus not just on prepping ourselves, but caring for those around us. If you’re in an evacuation zone and haven’t left yet, don’t wait. Pack essentials—meds, ID, cash, and basics—and check on neighbors who might need help, like the elderly or families with young kids. If you’re staying put, make sure you’ve got supplies like food, water, and flashlights, but also think about who you can turn to if things get tough—and who might need your help. Staying connected and sharing reliable info can make all the difference during a crisis. Once the storm passes, the damage will be real, and recovery will take time. Now’s the moment to strengthen our community bonds, offer help, and support each other through the aftermath. Together, we’ll make it through stronger. - Prayers from Dia'ani #HurricaneMilton #FloridaPrep #EvacuationSafety #CommunitySupport #CrisisPreparedness #EmergencyKits #StaySafe #DisasterRecovery #StrongerTogether #HelpingHands #SafetyFirst #WeatherAlert #BePrepared #CommunityCare #StormSafety
