How I solved overcoming new beginnings as a 9 year old: New beginnings are always scary, confusing and really difficult. Your head starts to fill with doubt when you begin. It tells you it’s too hard and you’ll never get it. That feeling puts you off, that’s why you don’t even begin most of the time. The most difficult challenge in my life will always be moving to the UK at 9 years old from Hungary. I was in a classroom new kids in a new country, with no knowledge of English. I started bursting into tears as soon as I stepped into the classroom. So why am I telling you all this? Well, I realized that starting something new should feel like this. Not overwhelming, but challenging. Beginnings will always feel uncomfortable. Because you don't have the skills right away, you need to learn them. Trust the process, and trust in yourself. Don't give up when you feel uncomfortable - that’s how it's supposed to feel. You should embrace, welcome it, and conquer it because that’s the only way you’ll learn. With the help of practice, effort and working one-on-one with a mentor helped me speed up my process and gain confidence. After 3 months in the UK I was speaking perfect English. It's the reason why I offer one-on-one coaching, to help people overcome new challenges. #lifecoach #selfimprovement #coach

Thank you, Panos Fragkos (ICF, PCC) , and International Coaching Federation for this great post! As a leader and coach who has been on my own coaching journey, I truly believe in the power of coaching for everyone—especially young adults and new leaders. I remember when I first started getting coaching, it was a game-changer. It helped me see things from new perspectives, make better decisions, and grow in ways I hadn’t imagined. Coaching isn’t just for executives. It’s for anyone who wants to become the best version of themselves. Let’s keep spreading the message that coaching is for all of us, no matter where we are in our careers! 🤗 #Coaching #Leadership

Something I learned a few years ago - if I had a coach I truly connected with on my leadership journey as a CEO, I would have been able to achieve so much more than I did AND with far more clarity. It’s a powerful thing I’ve realised and for those starting their career journey or even mid-way is a great place to begin to find yourself a coach that you resonate with - so you don’t keep getting pulled in all sorts of directions on your life path. #startearly #lifemap #clearvisions #purposefulleaders

Is coaching only for senior executives? When I started my career two decades ago, you had to be pretty senior AND demonstrate high potential to have access to a coach - this was mainly executive coaches who supported our leaders as they grow into their new roles. Somehow, my own perception and experiences of coaching changed over time. There was a period of time as I started leading teams, when I hear of colleagues 'being sent for coaching' - and implying a negative connotation and often viewed with fear and anxiety - That perhaps this colleague has some areas that need to be addressed and if not, perhaps coaching is the first step for this colleague to ultimately be 'managed out'. Today, with the democratisation of coaching, the two perceptions above are outdated and it is no longer a stigma attached to it, nor is it only reserved for the top performers in an organisation. There are even options today for on-demand digital coaching where coachees now get access to a global stable of trained coaches, all matched through an app. EZRA Coaching , BestOfMe, CoachHub - The digital coaching platform are just some of the platforms available. Today I support both early and mid career professionals, new leaders of family businesses, retrenched PMETs etc on their professional journeys, and thanks to NTUC LearningHub, coach trainer Stanley Ng and Colin Lee, the International Coaching Federation's standards are being taught and applied by bonafide coaches here in #singapore. The ICF offers some advice for those thinking if coaching is beneficial to them. These words below from a parent literally made me cry tears of joy It comes from a parent whose son enrolled in my coaching service at Classroom Without Walls The parent is correct I take a completely different, scientific approach to help young people reclaim their confidence, motivation, and future success ---- My perspective is that NO child is broken I do NOT buy into that I genuinely believe every kid is a good kid They have struggles and challenges, but they are good kids ---- In fact, my favorite students are NOT those who have never failed But those who have failed and struggled, and have worked hard to overcome their struggles and challenges These students have successfully *leveraged* their struggles to become better, stronger, more resilient, and more purpose-driven people ---- And that's exactly what happened to this young man ⬇️ here When he and I just started our coaching relationship, he seriously struggled with his mental state, frequently experiencing anxiety attacks As a result, his confidence and motivation hit rock bottom Through my innovative coaching system and one-on-one support, he has become a new person He is showing up in life with confidence, resilience, determination, and resourcefulness These are incredible qualities that are making him become the leader that he is meant to be As a coach, these are valuable gifts that I helped him uncover that he will carry for the rest of his life ➡️ This makes me feel so good! ---- Finally, as I always say: 👉 No child is broken, regardless of how bad the current situation is 👉 Challenge WITHOUT support can be quite dangerous 👉 Challenge WITH support will lead to ➡️ growth + transformation (And this is exactly what happened to this young man here) ---- So, parents, don't be afraid of your child's challenges Embrace them; empower your child and provide them with trusted support If you are interested in learning more about my one-on-one coaching service, send me a private message (price is increasing in Sept 🙂) #LifeCoach #CareerCoach #ClassroomWithoutWalls

Coaching isn’t just for top executives—it’s for everyone. The International Coaching Federation (ICF) explains what makes coaching so powerful. During my own major transitions, I worked with coaches and experienced first-hand everything described in this post. Now, I feel proud to be in a position where I can help others help themselves.
