Tips for choosing right screen for silkscreen printing First of all, consider how easy it is for the ink to pass through the screen. For intermediate tones, use inks with high transparency, fine pigment particles, and a higher ratio of pigment carriers. The ink has good permeability. It can pass well when using a high-mesh count screen. Generally, plastic inks have good permeability. Special-purpose inks and inks with high pigment concentrations have poor permeability despite being fine particles. If the surface of the substrate is rough, you can use a screen with lower mesh count. For example, when talking about substrate like leather, canvas, foam sheet, wood, etc., the surface is rough, and the ink absorption is strong, a screen with lower mesh count should be used to ensure sufficient ink passing through. Choose the screen according to the fineness of the lines of the original image. In general, choose high-mesh count for fine lines. When choosing screen, you must also think about the cost. Under the premise of meeting the printing requirements, try to choose a lower-priced screen. www.jrpanel.com #membraneswitch #graphicoverlay #silkscreen #printing #screen

Screen printing is a versatile method for printing on various gift items like bags, pens, diaries, and mugs. Here's a brief overview of the screen printing process for each item: 1.Bags: Screen printing on bags is common for promotional purposes or creating custom designs. A screen is created with the desired design, and ink is then pushed through the screen onto the bag material. 2.Pens: Screen printing on pens involves a similar process, but on a smaller scale. The pen barrels are typically cylindrical, so the printing process may require a specialized jig to ensure accurate alignment of the design. 3.Diaries: Diaries often have a cover made of materials like leather, PU leather, or fabric. Screen printing can be applied directly to these covers to display logos, artwork, or personalized messages. 4.Mugs: Screen printing on mugs involves a slightly different process due to the curved surface. Specialized equipment called a cylindrical screen printing machine is used to ensure even application of ink around the mug's surface. #screenprinting # #digitalmarketing #uvpriting #offsetprinting

Choosing the right printing technique for your brand is crucial. Here’s a comparison of #sublimation and #screenprinting to guide your decision: ⚾ Print Quality and Durability ⚾ 🏀 Sublimation: Ensures exceptional quality with vivid colors that embed into fabric fibers, offering long-lasting designs that resist washing out, cracking, or peeling. 🏀 Screen Printing: Ideal for simpler designs with one or few colors, providing good quality prints. However, the ink sits on the fabric's surface, making it less durable over time, and prone to cracking, peeling, and fading with washes. Evaluate your design requirements carefully to select the method that best suits your brand's objectives!

📌 Today's tips: How to choose right screen printing mesh count? ✔ Factor 1️⃣ : the level of detail in a design Images with high detail should use screens with a higher mesh count. Those fine dots of detail will fall through the holes in low mesh count screens. ✔ Factor 2️⃣ : the thickness of ink used Thinner ink, like water-based ink, should also be printed through a high mesh count. Thin ink will flood through larger holes in low mesh count screens, blurring the image. Thicker inks, like white plastisol ink, should be printed through low mesh counts. A thick ink printed through a high mesh count will take much more effort to create a good ink layer on the shirt. 🔍 𝐔𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐇𝐚𝐥𝐟𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐝𝐨𝐭𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐓𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐒𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠🎨 In textile screen printing, we often face unique designs that cleverly use a limited color palette to create vibrant multicolor effects. This brings us to the importance of 𝐝𝐨𝐭s 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠. So, what are halftone dots? 🤔 They are tiny units that help us display various tones and color gradations in printed materials. In the industry, we primarily work with two types: 𝟏. 𝐀𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 (𝐀𝐌) 𝐃𝐨𝐭𝐬: Same density and spacing, but sizes vary. 𝟐. 𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 (𝐅𝐌) 𝐃𝐨𝐭𝐬: Same density and size, but spacing varies. For most discussions, we focus on AM dots. Here’s why they matter: When printing, the image is transferred from a flat surface with a uniform layer of ink. Unlike paintings where ink can vary in depth, printed images rely on dot sizes to express lightness and darkness. 🌈 Each size of the dot contributes to the overall tone and depth of the image. For instance, a dot with a 10% tint covers 10% of the area, helping us achieve colors that closely match the original design! 🎯 Understanding these concepts is essential for creating stunning printed materials. Let’s continue to innovate and enhance our printing techniques! 💪 #ScreenPrinting #Halftones #TextileDesign #PrintingTechniques

Silkscreen printing, also known as screen printing or serigraphy, is a popular printing technique that involves using a mesh screen to transfer ink onto a surface, except in areas blocked by a stencil. Here's a simple breakdown of how it works: Screen Preparation: A mesh screen (traditionally made from silk, now often made from synthetic fibers) is tightly stretched over a frame. A stencil, which determines the design to be printed, is created on the screen, with open areas allowing ink to pass through. Ink Application: Ink is placed on the screen, and a squeegee is used to press the ink through the mesh openings and onto the material beneath, like paper, fabric, glass, or plastic. Layering and Color: For multicolor designs, each color is applied separately, often requiring multiple screens and precise alignment (or registration) for the final image. Versatility: Silkscreen printing is widely used in textiles, art prints, posters, and even electronic components because it works well on a variety of surfaces and can produce vivid, long-lasting colors. The process is valued for its ability to produce high-quality, durable prints and is frequently used in commercial production as well as fine art. #enamelpins #screenprint #pins

⭐️Read for more info!⭐️ 1️⃣ Once the client sends their design, the pressman makes metal template plates for the printing press to scan. 2️⃣ When the plates are made, they are inserted into the press and adjustments are made to make sure the final colors are correct. 3️⃣ The paper is inserted in one end and then we start her up and away she goes! 4️⃣ After everything has been printed, the brochures get taken to the cutter to trim off the excess paper. 5️⃣ Once it’s cut to size, the brochure is thrown into the magical folding machine that folds the brochure’s perfectly so the press man’s fingers don’t have to. 6️⃣ Now that it’s folded, the brochure is packaged up and sent to the eagerly awaiting customer. 🎥 If you want to see a visual representation of this, check out our video on brochures :) #asmr #asmrprinting #asmrsounds #reels #oddlysatisfyingvideo #1minuteprint #printing #print

Pantone system: It is a standardized color matching system widely used in graphic design, printing etc...It is used in design to ensure the accuracy of the color. In printing it is used in commercial printing, especially for logos, branding and other different media. Based on the application the Pantone colors are grouped as: ▪️ Pantone Solid Coated: For coated paper (glossy finish) ▪️ Pantone solid uncoated: For uncoated paper (matte or rough finish) ▪️ Pantone color matte: For matte finish paper. Advantages: Consistency: It ensures that the color remains the same across different devices & printing. Precision: Designers can specify exactly which color they want. Usually, the color in the devices looks unsimilar when we see it on the printed paper. Specialty inks: They have Special colors like metallics, pastels, neon colors etc... #pantonesystem #colortheory #colors #uidesign #graphicdesign

Do you know about Spot Colours? You may have heard of Pantones but, if not, it's a library of numbered colours used in graphic design and wet-ink printing. It's a reference guide so everybody has a visual idea of what colour is being asked for! Bear in mind, computer and phone screens don't all display the same way or even have the exact same brightness settings, so the best way of looking at a colour is to physically look at it. If in doubt, we can print a colour sample of your artwork for you to inspect and approve prior to printing the full label order! 😃 Get in touch today! #WeAreHine #LabelsMatter #Pantones #SpotColours #DigitalPrinting #Printing #UVPrinters #DidYouKnow #teamhine #hinelabels #hine #labelexperts #labelprinting #stickwithus #colour #colours
