Exciting Field Trip in Hamburg! 🚛 Last week, our team had the opportunity to dive deep into the world of our app users in Hamburg for a combination of user research and training! Here’s a quick snapshot of our journey and findings: Drive Alongs: we joined drivers on the road to observe their interactions with our app and understand their behavior firsthand. Here are some of the highlights: 📍“Pin quality is great! The app guides me exactly where I need to go.” ⏰ “It saves me time, allowing me to be more efficient.” 🚚 “My customers know exactly what time I will arrive and are ready for me.” Training Sessions: We conducted training for about 30 drivers, focusing on best practices and addressing their questions. Additionally, we hosted two training rounds and a Q&A session to ensure everyone is updated on every change. #Bettermile #UserResearch #UserExperience

The Swiss public transport system (SBB in German) has this cool app that lets you swipe-on and swipe-off for pretty much wherever you want to go in the country (apart from some tourist zones, I believe). If you want to go somewhere, you just swipe on the app, get on the train/boat/bus/tram, and then swipe off when you get to your destination. The app automatically bills you for the cheapest possible ticket based on your start/end location, and takes into account all sorts of discounts & regional passes etc. It's mostly a trust-based system, there are generally no turn sills or checks when you get into/out-of a train/tram/bus etc, but the fine for being caught without a ticket/app (they do random spot checks sometimes) is hefty, can be more than $180 (R3k) depending on your route and how many prior times you've not had a ticket on you.
