Great news for Gurgaon! The Haryana govt has approved a 5.5km signal-free elevated corridor from Vatika Chowk to the CPR cloverleaf. This Rs 750-crore project will enhance connectivity between Dwarka Expressway and the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, reducing travel time and congestion. This new elevated corridor will feature six lanes, footpaths, cycle tracks, and green belts on each side. It will decongest major roads like Golf Course Road and Sohna Road, making commutes smoother and quicker. Exciting times ahead for Gurgaon!

I took the opportunity to ride Mumbai Metros Line 3 Aqua Line this week from CSMIA T1 to Aarey JVLR. Few observations from the trip 1: World class facility. The underground station . Train rakes, Information boards, ticket counters are top notch. 2: The route is a big saviour for Mumbaikars. It’s perfectly called ‘Connecting the Unconnected’. As these spots in Mumbai have been bereft of any mass transit system for long 3: Metro Line 3 runs at a considerable faster speed than Line 2 and 7. Frequency of trains will be better in future if round trips take lesser time 4: The Aarey depot is massive in size and with work still underway it has the potential to support the ever increasing need of coach and rake maintenance 5: The coaches are wide and big enough to accommodate larger number of passengers. Few things which need immediate attention 1: Feeder bus routes in collaboration with BEST must be quickly added to improve ridership. Aarey JVLR station is in close proximity of business hubs viz Powai SEZ, Saki Vihar and other commercial areas. Commuters currently are left stranded after alighting at Aarey for further transport . This problems needs to be addressed ASAP 2: Travelators (Moving walkways) should be considered at stations where distance from entry points to platforms is long. At the moment senior citizen and families with kids will find it tiresome to walk 3: Mobile networks are weak in the metro. Access to network is key in transit. Overall a great boost to Mumbais infrastructure and transport. #mmrda #MumbaiMetro #MumbaiMetroLine3 #AquaLine

🚗 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐧 𝐆𝐮𝐫𝐮𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐀𝐢𝐫𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐞: 𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐰𝐢𝐟𝐭𝐥𝐲 🚗 A recent viral video shows a BMW speeding over a new speed breaker on Gurugram's Golf Course Road, lifting off for over a second and landing nearly 15 feet away. This incident has triggered immediate actions from authorities: ◆Incident Details: The car hit a recently constructed speed breaker at high speed, briefly going airborne. The dramatic moment underscores the need for better visibility and clear road safety measures. ◆Authority Response: The Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) acted quickly, installing cautionary signboards near the speed breaker to alert drivers. ◆Visibility Enhancements: To ensure safer navigation at night, GMDA marked the speed breaker with thermoplastic white paint, which reflects headlights, aiding drivers in identifying it more easily. ◆Road Safety Takeaway: This incident emphasizes the critical role of well-marked and visible speed breakers, especially on high-traffic roads. Ensuring road infrastructure aligns with safety standards can help prevent similar incidents. With this proactive approach, GMDA aims to enhance road safety and minimize such risks. 🚧 GMDA (Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority) | Haryana Government | Haryana Police | Ministry of Road Transport & Highways - India | Government of India (GoI) #Gurugram #RoadSafety #ViralVideo #gurgaon #golfcourse #speedbreakers #WATCH #trending #traffic #gurgaontraffic #gurgaonnews #latestnews #GMDA

Since 1976, navigating Delhi buses has been a challenge, especially for the blind and visually impaired. From running after moving buses to not knowing the route, it's time we think about a solution! Why not have buses announce their stop and destination, just like the buses operated by private operators in Delhi did in the 80s? Simple changes like - 1️⃣ Audio announcements of stops and routes. 2️⃣ Buses stopping in the bus lane for safe boarding. This would ensure every passenger, whether blind, differently-abled, or otherwise, can travel independently and safely. Let's make public transport truly public! Atishi . With the inauguration of the three-lane Moti Nagar flyover on the Ring Road, now Delhiites will be able to avoid the 30-minute ordeal to cover a mere half kilometer replaced by a breezy three-minute journey. This is the 31st flyover built by our govt providing significant relief from traffic jams, connecting Dhaula Kuan, Azadpur, and Rohtak in Haryana, and will be used by more than 1.25 lakh vehicles in one day. People traveling on these routes will benefit immensely. Reducing the travel time, and saving 9,000 man-hours, the flyover will benefit not only the people of Delhi and the environment but will also boost the economic growth of the national capital. There will be a reduction of 6 lakh liters of fuel and 50 thousand tons of carbon emissions annually. Moti Nagar flyover is just a small component, the bigger and primary component is the Club Road Flyover, which will be ready by July this year. It took 18 months to build the Moti Nagar flyover, and the Club Road flyover will be completed in about 21 months. The project is part of Ring Road in the North West section of Delhi. It is the major arterial road from Raja Garden flyover to Punjabi Bagh, collecting traffic from various roads, connecting major areas of North West Delhi and North Delhi like Pitampura, Rohini, and Shalimar Bagh. The total length of both flyovers is 1.68 km. Presently, traffic on Ring Road destined for Punjabi Bagh and Paschim Vihar area takes Basaidarapur Bridge. The new flyovers will help to channel this traffic. Vehicles moving towards Azadpur from Raja Garden and vice-versa will not face traffic congestion. #TrafficRelief #DelhiInfrastructure
