Great Minds, Unified Vision: A Productive Meetup 🌟 Team Collaboration Across Sites Last week, the lively spirit of team members arriving from different project sites filled our Phu My (South Vietnam) office. Seeing our diverse team come together under one roof, with each member contributing their distinct thoughts and experiences, was an inspirational sight. 🔍 Focused Discussions, Tangible Progress We had a lot of interesting conversations regarding the ongoing projects on our agenda. Everyone showcased their achievements, exchanging ideas and discoveries. In addition to being fruitful, the idea sharing also inspired creative answers to difficult problems. 🤝 Strengthening Bonds, Building Synergy Not only were the initiatives moving forward, but there was also a strong spirit of teamwork. We grew closer to one another as we ate meals together and exchanged stories. It is evident that our unity increases the impact of our combined efforts. 💡 Looking Ahead with Optimism There was a sense of expectation and success as we concluded the meeting. The busy-ness of BAU often means that teams forget the need to quickly take a pause, evaluate and realign before speeding off again. What's the potential price to pay for overlooking the need for team check-ins and recalibration? Team members working in silos and moving in different directions...sounds great, says no one ever. Came out of (workshop design & facilitation) retirement after 2 years to help design and run an off-site Team Accelerator for the Singlife Philippines leadership team. My role - to provide snapshots of the team in various situations, hold a mirror in front of them and facilitate real discussions about how the team can create maximum value. It's always rewarding to support a team come together and drive towards winning. An exciting journey ahead for our Philippines colleagues. Even managed to weave in CliftonStrengths to draw valuable insights for both the individuals and the collective team. All the best, Lester Cruz and team!
