Fail to prepare, prepare to fail. These are just some of the notes I prepared before my most recent commentary game on LOI TV. I probably didn't use 90% of the information as I personally find the worst thing you can do as a commentator is try to shoehorn in information and stats just because you worked on putting them together. However, these are great little nuggets you can throw in where appropriate. #SportsCommentator #SportsCommentary #FootballCommentator #FootballCommentary #SportsBroadcaster #SportsBroadcasting

There's few live events that draw-in the crowds and audiences the way sports events do, making sports content such a valuable commodity for broadcasters and streamers alike. As we focus on the dynamics of this sector, we see just how important #contentavailability and #reliability is to consumers and also how much added-value content owners can get from exploiting their sports rights. If you're already in the business of #sportscontent, have a read to see if you agree with these trends.... and if you're not, read on to see how exciting and fruitful this world can be. I particularly found the part around #contentsecurity pertinent. The more businesses exploit their streaming platforms, the more exposed content is to #piracy. At Arqiva, we are extremely proud to include the world's second biggest sports broadcaster as a valued customer, which proves our rich legacy in providing highly #reliable and #secure managed services. Looking forward to your messages! #sports #sportsevents #sportsbroadcasting #sportstrends #sportsmedia #managedservices #contribution #Arqiva #trustedpartners

Talk about moving your community from buy-in to join-in.... As a lover of all things baseball, I'm finding a lot can be learned about transformation, risk-taking, and entrepreneurship from the Savannah Bananas.
Owner of Savannah Bananas, Creator of Banana Ball, Author of Fans First & Find Your Yellow Tux, Keynote Speaker
It doesn't get much better than this. A fan caught a foul ball last night to win the game for the Savannah Bananas in front of a national audience on ESPN. When I dreamed up the idea of fans catching foul balls for outs in Banana Ball, the vision was for these exact moments happen. The goal was to make the fan the star, and that's how it played out. Our entire team ran to the crowd to celebrate with the fan that caught the ball. The Dad instead sent his young son on the field to be the hero, which was special in its own way. This game of Banana Ball was built for the fans, and to see how it's playing out with sold out crowds all over the country, is something I could have never imagined. But it's just the start as we continue to build more rules and more moments that are truly Fans First. We still got two more games on ESPN this weekend and I can only hope for some more magical moments.
