Fraud can come up in the sneakiest ways. Once, a former employee rigged an insurance policy's start date so her friend could claim an accident that happened before the policy even started. In another case, just hours after a client checked their fire insurance, their 'empty' house mysteriously went up in flames. Despite paying out, I couldn’t shake the feeling something was off.
