Networking has become bullshit nowadays if People only aim to connect with those above them, focusing solely on what they can gain. But here’s the harsh truth: 👉 Genuine connections are built when you approach with the intention to add value, not extract it. 👉 Real relationships thrive when you grow together on the same level. Trying to skip steps to "network up" often results in shallow, self-serving interactions. Remember, connections based on mutual growth and authenticity are far stronger than those driven by personal gain. 🚫 Selfish networking = short-term gains, zero long-term value. Let’s flip the script and build mindful connections—because that’s where real success happens. Share your thoughts below 👇 #Networking #GrowthMindset #Authenticity #ConnectionOverClout

Sometimes it's the simple things that make all the difference. Take a slow, deep breath in through your nose, and exhale slowly through your mouth. Networking is very much like farming. Let me tell you how: Networking is about cultivating relationships that grow over time rather than chasing immediate gains (opportunities). Each person you meet at an event could be a seed for future collaborations, mentorships, or friendships. And here’s how you can cultivate your networking skills to reap long-term benefits and make every interaction count: 𝗗𝗼’𝘀: - Be Authentic: Genuine connections are the most powerful. - Respect Time: Keep initial conversations brief and to the point. - Follow Up Promptly: Send a follow-up message within 48 hours, recalling something memorable from your chat. - Maintain a Positive Attitude: Approach every interaction with a smile and an open mind. 𝗗𝗼𝗻'𝘁’𝘀: - Don’t Interrupt: Allow others to finish their thoughts. - Don’t Dominate the Conversation: Listen as much as you speak. - Don’t Be Pushy: Focus on relationship-building over hard selling. - Don’t Forget to Follow Up: Nurture connections to keep them alive. Successful networking hinges on authenticity and genuine connections. Remember, being your true self pays off, and people can sense authenticity. A good laugh and a genuine smile can open more doors than you might think. Now, go out there and dazzle them! Happy networking! #networking #authenticity #smile #followup #connections

"Courage starts with showing up and letting ourselves be seen." -- Brene Brown This is probably the hardest part of networking. Networking has incredible benefits, but it can feel overwhelming for so many people. There is something incredibly vulnerable about extending yourself to a stranger, especially when you put the pressure of a business connection on the line. Here's the thing: most of the people in the room are nervous, too. You aren't the only one worried that it will feel awkward or stressing about what to talk about. Just take a deep breath, extend your hand, and introduce yourself. Let the rest happen organically. Not every person you meet is going to develop into a long-term relationship. But if you show up genuinely, you'll find that the relationships you do build are worth more. #Networking #Introductions #BreneBrown #Vulnerability
