Check out Wolfie's set up! This is TN11 Rusty Kaspa running on an 11 year old 4 core hyper-threaded CPU with 16gb of RAM, available on eBay for under $100. To drive widespread, real-world tech adoption, it's essential to prioritize compatibility with accessible hardware and minimize operational costs. Well done, Kaspa Developers! https://lnkd.in/gY7SzQsQ

Updated my BitNet CPU project with inference speed estimation benchmark results on workstation Xeon processors: https://lnkd.in/gf77RFWz - It's about 40 tokens/second. AMD Ryzen 5 7535HS CPU achieves about 7.4 tokens/second for Gemma 3B. This is using multi-threading, and unrolled AVX-512 instructions. So, probably this is a kind of upper bound on the performance rather than what you could expect with a full implementation.

👏 Raspberry Pi CM5 & CM4 CPU performance comparison test is coming! ! The CM5‘s processor has been updated to the same Broadcom BCM2717 as the Raspberry Pi 5, and compared to the previous generation CM4, the CM5’s CPU performance has been substantially improved. In this video, we use the CPU testing tool Sysbence to test the score comparison between CM5 & CM4, with visual data to tell you the power and improvement of CM5 performance. We will continue to bring you more CM5 series test videos, don't miss them! https://lnkd.in/g45h6RvF #RaspberryPi #CM5 #CM5vsCM4 #RaspberryPi5 #CPU

🚀 Dynamic Batching for High-Traffic Systems in Go In high-traffic systems, minimizing system call overhead is crucial for optimizing CPU usage. By implementing dynamic batching in Go, we were able to significantly reduce costly syscalls, resulting in lower CPU consumption. While this method introduces a slight increase in latency due to waiting for batched requests, the performance gains in terms of CPU efficiency make it an excellent solution for systems dealing with high request volumes or external service interactions. Check out the full article for details and the implementation. #Golang #DynamicBatching #CpuOptimization #HighTrafficSystems #100harinulis
