The quantum breakthroughs keep coming, this one is about Microsoft and Atom Computing using logical qubits to overcome the error rates of single physical qubits. This is accomplished because a logical qubit combine multiple physical qubits to overcome noise and to maintain coherence for longer. This gives an error rate 800 times better than physical qubits. Microsoft and Atom combined 56 physical qubits into 12 logical qubits. https://lnkd.in/e9RGd4DG
