LOVE this example of a peer-to-peer campaign for animals: take notes everyone 🗒️ One of my clients, Australian Animal Protection Society launched their annual "Snores for Paws" event, where staff and volunteers come together to spend a night in the kennels with the pups 🐕 Here are a few of the things about this peer-to-peer campaign that I love: ☑️The activity is cause-related and mission-aligned: living the dogs' experience is a powerful message. ☑️ Each ambassador will participate in a collective event at the end: great team building opportunity! ☑️ Their fundraising objective has a concrete project: purchasing a transport van 🚐 ☑️ There are incentives to donate, supporting ambassadors in their efforts (a trip to the Hayman Islands 🏝️😍) ☑️They have mobilized many ambassadors (44!), including sponsors, to reach their objective. If you are thinking of launching a peer-to-peer campaign, these are some of the things you need to plan BEFORE launching the campaign: 1️⃣ A long list of ambassadors 2️⃣ Matching donors or sponsors 3️⃣ Incentives or mobilizing activities to boost participation 4️⃣ A concrete objective attached to your fundraising goal I was happy to support Megan Benton, the AAPS Executive Director, in reaching her objective and hopefully winning a trip to a tropical island 🤞! If ever you want to support this campaign and help some Australian pups, I invite you to donate at the link in the comments below ⬇️

2 months ago, our mission took on a new dimension – supporting animal welfare. We partnered with Animalibre, an organization dedicated to rescuing and caring for animals in need. The stories of countless dogs, cats, and other creatures suffering on the streets moved us. Witnessing the transformation of these animals – overcoming fear and regaining health – is inspiring. We couldn't walk away from the opportunity to make a difference. Virtue Health helps Animalibre with donations and raising awareness for their work. However, our furry friends still face challenges. Animalibre currently cares for 100 animals, and they desperately need a larger space to thrive. How You Can Help: - Donate: Your contribution helps provide vital resources for them. - Adopt: Open your home to a deserving companion. - Share: Spread the word. Every action counts. Let's work together to create a brighter future for these animals. 📌 Donate here: https://gofund.me/1129584d #animalrescue #animalrights #donate

RESCUES, ANIMAL SHELTERS, HUMANE SOCIETIES, NON-PROFIT, FOR PROFIT, NO KILL, LOW KILL, HUMAN SHELTERS, FOSTERS, BOARDING FACILITIES, AND EVEN FRIENDS AND FAMILY ARE OVER FULL!! The entire system is at critical mass steadily falling apart!! This is why we preach, we beg, and we pay to have animals spayed and neutered!!! EVERYONE CAN DO SOMETHING!! Our State, Our Country, Hell even our World cannot pull out away from this if we ALL don’t step up to help!! ADOPT DONT SHOP! If you can’t Adopt, then FOSTER! If you can’t Foster, then VOLUNTEER! If you can’t Volunteer, DONATE! If you can’t Donate, EDUCATE!! IF YOU THINK YOUR PET "WILL GET A NEW HOME" YOU'RE DELUSIONAL !!! LET THIS SINK IN ~ If the place you're renting doesn't allow dogs ~ find another place that does. If your boyfriend or girlfriend doesn't like your dog ~ find another boyfriend or girlfriend. If you're moving out of state ~ be as loyal to your dog as he has been to you. Take him along with you. If you're not willing to commit to a dog for ALL of his life ~ DON'T GET A DOG. If you STILL refuse to make it work ~ have the decency to reach out to a reputable rescue to intake your family .. their life depends on it. Literally.

To continue making an impact in 2025, we need your support ☺️ We are raising $15,000 and all the donations up to $11,000 will be matched! We already received over 40 donations from fellow Hivers and raised nearly $8,000 (thanks so much for everyone who has already donated! 🧡 ) Your donation will go directly toward: 🌱 Connecting advocates to volunteer and career opportunities that maximize their impact (aiming for over 100 of these in 2025!) 🌱 Hosting events and workshops to build skills and resilience. 🌱 Growing a supportive community for people tackling one of the world’s most pressing problems. 👉 Join us in our efforts to end farmed animal suffering 💪 Not ready to donate? 🐰🐹Did you know that this week was Animal Shelter Appreciation Week? 🐶🐱 Well, now let's show some appreciation for the incredible work they/you do! If you're an animal rescue or shelter, you might feel like your funding is shaky, unreliable, and that tomorrow is never guaranteed. You are so not alone! Did you know that #AnimalShelters and #SPCAs are under immense financial strain, relying heavily on private donations to cover the costs of abandoned pets as municipal funding and philanthropy continues to fall short. I know, it's heavy. But it's not doomed. Things are changing, with movements like #OneHealth getting people to see the interconnection between the work they do for animals and how it also supports the overall community. 👉 If you'd like to learn more about how these essential organizations have a special set of fundraising limitations, read the article here: https://vist.ly/3mkjts7 Who is your favorite animal rescue or shelter and why? The sounds of shrieking agony are forever burned into my brain. I'm ashamed to say I was the one causing those heart-wrenching sounds. My name is Anthony Bellotti. 29 years ago, I worked in an ANIMAL TESTING lab. And that day, I swore an oath to deliver a devastating blow to the butchers and bureaucrats in white lab coats who prey on animals in the name of "science." My life's mission is to expose and close the U.S. government's $20B animal testing business, ONCE AND FOR ALL! That's why I founded White Coat Waste (WCW)—the most effective group at getting animals out of labs. Our strategy is effective: Stop the Money. Stop the Madness! We've saved, rescued & impacted 29K lives. We've cut $99M+ & closed 114 labs—more than any animal protection organization. 🐶 ENDED all Veterans Affairs labs (220 killed/yr. Now it's 0). 🐒 CLOSED FDA's #1 lab (200 abused/yr. Now it's 0). 😻 SHUT DOWN NIH's lethal lab & breeding colony. (100+ abused/yr. Now it's 0). I just adopted one of the cat survivors. Here's a photo from the exact moment I met "Marigold" (formerly Govt ID #11-245). But I can't do it alone. Unfortunately: - Our fundraising from wealthy donors is way down - We lost a major foundation partner (a six-figure grant maker de-funded us) - Our bills are higher than ever. This year, expenses will probably rise 38.7% So please, on GIVING TUESDAY, we're humbly asking all our grassroots supporters to chip in $5 or even $10: https://lnkd.in/eK382U9J ⏰ Rush your best gift before 11:59 pm to support all our effective campaigns!
I just donated to the MOST EFFECTIVE group for getting animals out of labs.

What an incredible first week it has been! Starting my journey at the Hooved Animal Humane Society has been both inspiring and rewarding. From day one, it was clear: this organization runs on compassion, collaboration, and a touch of horse sense (pun intended)! Here are a few highlights: 🌟 Holiday Donations Galore: It’s truly humbling to see the generosity pouring in from all over the country. I dove right into organizing and processing these thoughtful gifts, ensuring every item is accounted for and ready to benefit our rescues. 🙌 Volunteer Superstars: This week, I had the pleasure of working with some of the most dedicated and passionate volunteers. From mucking stalls to cleaning and organizing tack donations, they are the heartbeat of what we do. Together, we will continue to fine-tune workflows to ensure efficiency and maximize their valuable time. 🐴 Getting to Know Our Rescues: Meeting the hooved beauties under our care has been the best part! From spunky minis to gentle giants, each one has a unique personality and a story waiting for a happy ending. As an operations management enthusiast, I love finding ways to streamline processes and optimize resources—especially when the end goal is saving lives and finding these animals their forever homes. I’m looking forward to building systems that support growth, foster community, and allow us to focus on what matters most: giving these animals the second chance they deserve. If you’re in the area, stop by and meet our rescues—or reach out to learn more about how you can help! Here’s to a future of full hearts, open pastures, and lots of love. 🐾 #AnimalRescue #OperationsManagement #NonProfitLife #HoovedAnimalHumaneSociety #AdoptDontShop #NewBeginnings

As wedding and graduation season approaches, we know that dove releases are planned for many events. Would we release a bunch of domestic cats far from home for entertainment and see if they make it home? We're unsure why it's ok to do that for pigeons and doves, when we wouldn't do it for any other domestic animal. The truth is - ceremonial dove releases are cruel. Happiness for these birds is having shelter, protection from predators, food, their flock. We take that away from them when they are released for show. Don't support dove/pigeon releases. We don't do it for dogs, cats, pigs, cattle, etc, so why would we do it for any other domestic animal? Oakrock.org #nonprofit #charity #animalrescue #farmanimals

Animals provide vital comfort and companionship that perpetrators of domestic abuse deny. Animals are often the only other living beings in the home who witness the full extent of the abuse. Animals are part of the family and leaving them behind is distressing and just not an option. We offer victim-survivors of domestic abuse a specialist animal fostering service to remove this barrier which prevents so many victim-survivors from escaping domestic abuse. We receive daily calls to care for animals when families need to leave, including this recent message from Jane (not her real name): ‘I’m in desperate need of help for somewhere for my dog to go. He's just as much a victim as I am, he's been punched, kicked, bitten and he has a skin condition I haven't been able to tend to, due to my ex-partner. I'm trying everything I can to find a home somewhere and was wondering if there are any options for temporary care for my dog. I’ve lost so much and don’t want to lose him as well.' Today we have 50 animals in our care and more coming in this side of Christmas. If you want to help people and animals this Christmas there are three things that you can do to make a big difference: 1. Share/repost information on our social media to raise awareness about our service so we can reach people who may need our support. 2. Vote for us to win a share of £100,000 from the Animal Friends Christmas charity giveaway https://lnkd.in/eUvcqqAH 3. Consider becoming a volunteer animal foster carer or tell friends and family about fostering. We always need more homes across Devon and Cornwall to provide temporary care for animals, particularly dogs, cats and rabbits. We cover the cost of everything animals need while they are with you https://lnkd.in/es2qqVJx Running our service is expensive and we rely on donations. If you can help support our work, please consider donating to our Christmas campaign, Extra Bowl at Christmas https://lnkd.in/eQPzkxTq. Thank you. #protectanimalsprotectpeople #askabouttheanimals #thelink #volunteering #animalfostering #voteforus #donate #Christmasappeal
