🎉 Friends, I need your help! 🎉 We’re on a mission at Only7Seconds® to raise $40,000 to fuel our vital work in early 2025—and we’re over halfway there! With just ONE WEEK left to hit our goal, I’m reaching out to my tribe for support. 💛 This mission is so personal to me. #Loneliness isn’t just a buzzword; it’s a silent epidemic affecting so many—especially our youth. As a mom, I want to create a better, more connected world for my two boys, one where kindness and meaningful relationships are the norm, not the exception. I’ve seen firsthand the transformative power of connection through the work we do at Only7Seconds. Every dollar we raise helps create programs that build those life-saving, meaningful #connections. That’s why I believe so deeply in this work and why I’m asking for your help. A gift of $25—the cost of a coffee/breakfast date or a takeout meal—can make a big difference in empowering youth and spreading hope. What makes this even better? ✨ Give NCW is hosting our end-of-year campaign and covering ALL credit card fees, so 100% of your donation goes directly to program impact. ✨ And today is Funday Monday! If you donate today, you’ll be entered to win a $1,000 gift card to give to any nonprofit on the Give NCW list (including us 😉). Thanks, Community Foundation of NCW for hosting this amazing campaign and keeping dollars local!!! Let’s rally together to finish strong and make a huge difference for 2025. Can you help? 🔗 https://lnkd.in/gCW84c2T Thank you for believing in this mission—you’re changing lives. 💛 #Only7Seconds #GiveNCW #EndYouthLoneliness

There's nothing quite like spending Giving Tuesday in a room filled with fundraising professionals! Had the tremendous opportunity to present Double the Donation case studies at Nonprofit Power yesterday, sharing how various organizations have grown their employer matching gift revenue by using Double the Donation to bypass 4 common challenges nonprofits face. 1) You doesn't know where donors work or if they are eligible 2) Your donors find accessing their employers matching gift program details difficult 3) Your donors need to be reminded to submit their matching gift and you don't have time to send them 4) Tracking the matching gift journey and verifying matching gifts is a hassle for you Don't let these common challenges bog you down! There are much more interesting hurdles to spend your time on, let us help you jump over these! Happy to share the slides from my presentation today if anyone is curious as to how. Also happy Matching Wednesday! Don't know what that means? Check out this post: https://lnkd.in/eyvMABJs

What Are We Saying to Teens When We Leave Them Out? When gift drives stop at age 12, what message does that send to our teens? That they don’t matter? That they’re not worth celebrating? Teens are at a critical stage in life. They’re figuring out who they are, navigating challenges, and looking for validation from the world around them. Excluding them during the holidays can feel like another door closing, another reminder that they’re overlooked. But we have the chance to change that narrative. By supporting the Holiday Gift Drive for Teens, you’re telling these young people: * We see you. * We care about you. * You’re important to us. Bridge Builders YQG hosts the ONLY gift drive in Windsor-Essex that focuses on teens—because we believe they deserve the same joy and excitement as everyone else during the holidays 🎁🎄🙏🏽. Every donation, big or small, helps us show these teens that they’re not forgotten. Please consider donating gifts, gift cards, or money today. Together, we can make a real difference for the teens in our community. Do you care? We know you do. Let’s prove it. ❤️ Click here to get involved: https://lnkd.in/gr3G5tSn #SupportTeens #HolidayGiftDrive #BridgeBuildersYQG #MakeADifference

🎉 Only 42 days left until the critical year-end giving period – December 27-31! Did you know? December 31st alone generates nearly 3x more donations than Giving Tuesday, making it the most impactful day for nonprofits. ➡️ But here’s a shocking statistic: According to the NextAfter Benchmarks Report, 40% of charities didn’t send any emails to donors during the year-end season. Don’t leave potential donors waiting! 📧 Email campaigns during year-end giving drive 14% more revenue per donor than at any other time of year. And adding video to your message can boost click-through rates by over 20%! ✨ Here’s how you can maximize this opportunity: 1. Show Your Impact – Help donors see how their contributions create meaningful change. 2. Remind Donors About Tax Benefits – Many give during year-end to maximize deductions. 3. Use Video Storytelling – Connect emotionally and inspire action. Let’s make these last days of the year count! We’re here to help you drive meaningful change!

It might be October, but year end giving is around the corner and it’s the perfect time for nonprofits to ramp up their fundraising efforts! One key strategy to finish strong is crafting a standout year-end appeal. Here are 5 ways to make your appeal stand out from the crowd: 1️⃣ Tell a Story: Share the amazing things your nonprofit has accomplished this year. Highlight how donations can help continue that momentum. 2️⃣ Focus on Impact: Show donors exactly how their contributions will make a difference. People want to see the tangible results of their generosity. 3️⃣ Personalize Your Message: Make your appeal feel special by addressing donors by name and referencing their past support. 4️⃣ Create a Sense of Urgency: Remind donors that year-end giving is a limited-time opportunity. Highlight any matching gift challenges to encourage immediate action. 5️⃣ Include a Clear Call to Action: Make it easy for donors to give with a prominent donation link or button in your appeal. Real leaders don’t need to be the hero. However, you can demonstrate your culture of care when you donate to Red Express to ensure every child has a gift to open on Christmas morning. This clip from my Curious Leader keynote reminds me that leaders who need to be the hero could benefit from stepping into someone else's shoes. Like a child without a toy on Christmas morning. Or a parent wondering whether to pay the bills or buy groceries. In conversations with CUPS' incoming Executive Director, Elaine Wilson, we were reminded how vital these donations are—not just for holiday cheer but for ongoing programs that support children and families year-round. Every donation, big or small, fuels this mission. Imagine the joy your $50 gift could bring to a child waking up to a present they never thought possible or the relief a gift card brings to a family managing through tough times. Plus, this year we're introducing Tiers of Giving to give you something tangible to say thanks. For donations starting at $3,500 you'll get The Curious Leader delivered by me to your team any time in 2025 so you can learn how to foster a more innovative culture. Not in this year's budget? Don't worry! All donations of all sizes are welcomed. Learn more or donate now 👉🏻 redexpress.ca
