At ramsac we have an expression that we all keep in the back of our minds ➡ Take them to the Cauliflower ⬅ This comes from a story our Executive Chairman Rob May tells. The principle behind the story is this, when you go to a store and ask 'Where is the Cauliflower?' The store assistant can either personally show you the way, give choices, ask questions and generally give over and above service or (and I'm sure we all know the alternative all too well) they can name an isle, point, grunt or dismiss your request completely. When working in any industry with customer interactions it is always important to strive to be the former, to make sure we always ➡ Take them to the Cauliflower ⬅ As an Executive Assistant this is such a principle to live by. Even as an employee, when you are an Assistant you should always treat your Executive as a customer. I never want to do the bare minimum. I never want to be seen to be lazy or uninterested. I want my Executive to soar and the best way to help is to give top tier service 🌟
I love the cauliflower “principle” of ramsac, and I love how you bring it to life in this way in your work too! ❤️
I loved hearing about this at our recent Best Companies Live event, great analogy 💡
I can recall this from my days of supplying IT staff to you, and how Robert and you used this
And you do that for me every day! 😍
