A Zen Master story on the power of non-interference: "Sometimes in our desire to protect and preserve, we disrupt the natural flow of things. It is a reminder that nature has its own wisdom, and if we interfere unnecessarily, we may prevent growth and resilience from emerging. Sometimes the best course of action is to trust in the innate wisdom of the world and allow life to unfold naturally. In the stillness of observation, profound insights can be found." Lifeforce carries innate wisdom: allow life to do its work, try not to interfere unnecessarily! 🙏 #impermanence #zen #zenbuddhism #noninterference #wisdom #nature #naturalflow #essence #lifeforce #resilience #emergence #stillness #insights #leadership #self #awareness #consciousness #mindfulness #personalgrowth

I dare you to survive dangerous, difficult, and remarkable experiences and stick around to be able to share the tale afterwards. The severity of experiences that we overcome are beyond significant to recount. When we go through traumatic and harrowing ordeals and come out of it alive, that's a testament to human resilience and the ability to endure and overcome adversity. You and your story have value, and that's worth sharing. #wy20 #livetotell #live #share #sharedexperiences #overcome #adversity #resilience #resilient #endure #ability #overcome #whatsyourtwenty #value #youhavevalue #worth #survive #youareworthy #youcanhandleanything #traumarecovery #idareyou #tellthetale #ptsi #ptsd #cptsd #trauma #traumahealing #tellyourstory #bebrave #becourageous

People assume that the disabled and their families have everything covered. It's reasonable, right? Wrong. When it comes to caregiving for a loved one with a disability, a single person cannot do everything. Whether disability is the result of a developmental disorder, paralysis, or age, all caregivers need respite, an interval of relief. But it takes others who care enough to come in and take over. Sometimes respite is as simple as offering to sit down and play checkers with an elderly individual so a caregiver can take a much-needed break. These are simple tasks any caring person can perform. You can help. Look for ways you can assist families who need a break. Begin by simply asking if there is a practical way you can be of service. Tell them you are willing to learn. One in five Americans is an unpaid caregiver. Who in your life needs respite? #Faith #Caregiving #Respite #Help #Disability
