Merry Christmas! We wish you a wonderful holiday celebrating the birth of our savior! ✝️🌟 "And in the same region there were shepherds out in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And an angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were filled with great fear. And the angel said to them, "Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be a sign for you: you will find a Baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger." And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying, 'Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those with whom He is pleased!'" If the Earthly Things Are a Copy and Shadow of What Is in Heaven, What About the Source of Life? Through the earthly family system, God let us know its reality—the heavenly family. God created numerous creatures to receive life through their mothers. This was to show us that eternal life also comes from God the Mother. If you've been around us long you might know our family business is focused on building the world's toughest wood flooring manufactured to exacting standards AND delivering world class client service. But did you know that our family's guiding pricinples are actually much deeper than just building a great product. We exist to glorify God and we believe He actually owns our business but we are just stewards of it during the time He has entrusted it to us. We believe the God of the Bible is creative and so we are creative and He does things with excellence so we do things with excellence and He values people and so we value people. We don't believe there is a dichotomy between our work life and personal life because if God made everything then the secular and the sacred are inextricably linked and so all of life is an act of worship in our view. We don't require our employees to hold to this worldview nor our vendors or clients nor do we think we are better than anyone else in fact quite the opposite. There is one thing that would bring us far more joy than a $10 million order...it's knowing someone in our sphere of influence would place their faith in Jesus and entering in to a life surrendered to Him and His renown. There is so much peace in a life lived for Him. Would you consider that today and during this Easter season? Click here to read more: https://lnkd.in/ezbA7dAh

The Ten Commandments are a set of rules that teach how to live a righteous life, and the central theme of the Ten Commandments is love for God and others. Some say that during Christmas, the Ten Commandments can be applied to one's holiday experience in these 4 ways: 1) Prioritizing family Honoring family is important, but it's also important to consider your own desires and not overcommit to holiday gatherings. 2) Practicing self-care Taking time to rest and practice self-care is important, especially during the busy holidays. 3) Being generous Consider ways to surprise someone with an act of generosity, such as sending a handwritten note or taking someone on a road trip. 4) Keeping Christ in Christmas Some say that one should keep Christ in Christmas. Recognizing that Jesus Christ kept the commandments Jesus Christ kept the commandments perfectly, and he bore the punishment for people's law-breaking. How are you prioritizing the 10 Commandments this holiday season? #Squeezetencommandments #lovethetenandlivethepromise

Rest is not a luxury, it’s a command ✝️ Missionaries, your calling is important, but so is your rest! Jesus often withdrew to solitary places to pray (Luke 5:16). As missionaries, it’s easy to pour into others and forget to care for yourselves. But burnout doesn’t glorify God- faithful rest does 🌱 Here are 3 ways to incorporate Sabbath into your routine 👇 1️⃣ Set Boundaries: block off time each week to disconnect from work and connect with God. 2️⃣ Renew Your Mind: spend time in prayer, worship and reading Scripture. 3️⃣ Enjoy God’s Creation: Take a walk, journal, or do an activity that fills you with the joy and peace. How do you incorporate rest in your ministry? Share your favorite ways to recharge in the comments! ⬇️ • • #missionarylife #restinthelord #faithoverburnout #sabbathrest #ministrymatters #globalmissions #travel #jesussaves #rest #peaceful #godsplan #serveothers

Uplifting words indeed. Luke 6:31 (NIV)'s Golden Rule is incredibly relevant in today's workspaces and everyday life. In the workplace, applying this principle means treating colleagues, supervisors, and clients with kindness, and fairness. It's about being empathetic and understanding, just as we would want others to be towards us. It also promotes a culture of mutual respect, tolerance, and cooperation. It encourages leaders to consider the impact of their decisions on others and to act with integrity, compassion, and justice. By embracing this principle, we can foster a more positive and productive work environment and promote a more harmonious and equitable society.

Sunday Inspiration ❤️ "Do to others as you would have them do to you." — Luke 6:31 (NIV) As we reflect on this Sunday, let’s remember the power of empathy and kindness. The Golden Rule isn’t just a saying—it’s a way of life that Jesus taught us. When we treat others with the same love, respect, and compassion that we desire, we create a ripple effect of positivity and grace. In every interaction, whether big or small, let's choose to live out this principle. Our world becomes a better place when we extend the love of Christ to those around us, just as He has loved us. May your week be filled with opportunities to reflect His goodness through your actions.

Absolutely! and Job is one of my favorite books. This book changed my whole perspective on life and my relationship with God.
Focus on prayer. When we pray, we're not informing God, rather inviting him into our situation. #FocusFriday Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7
